well first you said just how to get skill level without referring that it need to be in npc, so here is what you will need to do
1- use this guide how run queries from lua script (easy to find just by using that search button)
2-use the sql query given in previous post
3-use some dev(Lua-Sql) skills to adjust your Query & Script

I will try again, have tried something like that when I started and couldn't get to work, but I'll give it a chance. Do you have any ideia of how to make a wait function? because I couldn't find a way to wait until the value is returned (by creating a new variable)

sorry can't help you with that because i still haven't figured out how to develop a wait fonction

How can I allow special characters (á é ê ç etc) in chat and npc dialogues? Thanks in Advance
I tried changing localinfo, codepage and country but couldn't resolve.

Write the message in the string resource and then write the code instead of the text

Even so it doesn't work. The text get cut before the character.

Right Country + String Resource works for me maybe your doing something wrong or maybe I did something more let me check that.

It may be the abuse_list.txt

Check to see if they are listed as blocked characters.

You will need to resource an override file that will correct the filters.

I added an empty abuse_list.txt and banword.rdb and tried adding localeinfo.ini too (ascii and normal), nothing changes, NPC names, item names and main menu works well, but NPC text, menu and chat doesn't. thanks

Buddy ... just save lua file in np++ and convert it to UTF-8 without BOM ...

creature_learn_skill is the registered command maybe that's why no one can figure out...

Heya!

Tried to make my own NPC, followed i guide i got by a good friend.

Everything worked fine, Added the NPC files into my Folder. Restarted everything.

And then...my server don't work.

The herlock server on goes to (Something about 4 strings,then event state succesfully.)

After that it closes and gives me crash dump files.

I have tried to removce those files that i have added, but it doesn't work that either.

Anybody could help me?

Salut tout le monde voila jai creer un serveur 8.1 avec sframe 8.1 et tut le tralala mais au moment ou je lance le launcher sa me dit soit quil me faut audiere.dll (jai deja ajouter tout se qui me demander mais rien) ou alor sa marche pas ;o fautil le mettre a un endroit speciale certain dossier? merci ou alor si un francais pourrait maider a en creer 1 mais pourtant je suis presque sur davoir tout reussit ;o
