Ive already resolve this problem myself. Yep you have right i dont know anything about sql but i learn fast Now my problem is like a few page ago.. i cant conect to mysql server. Any ideas?

Small progress update... Got the LevelResource table to load, still not sure what all the fields are though. It needs {int, bigint, int, int, int, int}. The bigint has to be the exp field and I'm guessing the first int is the level.

After that, it needs an index created on dbo.Items. Here's sql that worked for me so far:

Now it loads the character list but it's completely blank. I'm guessing version mismatch but I can't say for sure just yet. If so, we may run into a brick wall eventually trying to get this to work because of too much hacking needed

If you really want to learn how to use and how to work with SQL, then I'd suggest to look for some guides using Google, it helps. It's not forbidden to ask here, but I just don't like it when people ask something that wouldn't be necessary if you would have the basics of SQL.

Pyrok, what if you "create" a character by yourself using the database? Does it work then?

I Have been playing around with making one in the database but it looks like it adds default data to lots of other tables when a char is made in the client. :P so no luck yet

but i did get it to load the the levelResource

installed now sql 2008. its the same **** like in the sql 2005 cant restore db.

the error tell me "the Back-up-pack is the back-up of an other db as the created one of me"

but i wanna restore. why it tell me that error

I have basic SQL skills because I have made mine own flyff server and kalonline WOW sometimes I think that I am able to do bases.

I want to help with my friend, but we have thousands of files and we do not know which are the right files

Soleil its easy. First you need go to start > Microsoft sql server 2008 > cofiguration tools > SQL Server Configuration Manager.

Then sql server network configuaration > protocols for mysqll serv > tcp/ip enabled.

Then you run sql server manager and conect.

Then you have to run datebase backups.

Sabit dont make clear datebase. Click on datebace > restore datebase > chaose bak file and then chaose name Arcadia.
