6) I hope he gonna create a server for 2009 closed beta build ( optionnal but cool )

I hope I don't annoy nobody with this

Yes to much wishes, but it's how I see things on the future ( 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018...)

Well an universal server until we get a stable version so we could play.
Preferable an old one..with cars sorted by tiers
So...are we doing it or not?
I would give it a try..if some one would told me how is he doing it.
@ tell me how you do it and i may speed up the server stuff..

Please stop asking for like 5 different things at once. I'm busy, I am not a code monkey that can do multiple servers at once.

Now, to clear things up:

2009: Little to no chance.
March/April 2010: Probably not, unless someone happens to have the files from back then.
2011: Maybe, I have the data.
SpeedyDanny's stuff: I'll look into it.
Posting an updated version: Definitely, but I want to fix the car dealership.

And like ChicaneMilos said, that is a lot of "wishes". I'll see what I can do, but for now, just be happy that there even is a server for the beta.


And, yes, my server is for the version from July.

A universal server could, in theory, be done, but it would be pretty tricky.



I might be able to get the car dealership working, with tiers and stuff, but idk yet.

by the way... i managed to run the 12/16/2010 version with the latest server but the driver from the open beta server
The game works like charm until you press buy car (you can select almost any car i think)
BUT!
If you keep searching your favorite car to get it the game stops working..(it just freezes/instead of crash i think)

If you try to buy the car...the game closes(i think that is a crash because of incomplete info in the driver server files.)

after you created a driver...you can buy any car i think.
then..
after you have chosen you car and youre trying to buy it sadly the game closes/crashes

How did you get that build working? I've been trying to load it for days now with the server by leorbix, but it keeps saying something about GetPermanentSession, and I have no idea what it means. Any ideas?

Are you sure about that?
Did you take a look at Closed beta videos ~March/April 2010?

As far I know, (this is something I inferred from videos and screenshots left on the internet)

They edited the people-based avatars from the Asian test for the first few closed beta.
