Ok I have 2 more basket fixes for the Porsche Cayman S Limited Edition and Nissan 370Z (Z34) Limited Edition, so far that is it for the Limited Edition fixes
I will go through all Exclusive, MegaBlock and others, as I find any I will get basket fixes for you.

GlideImage, can you tell me how I can altar resell prices for cars? Wouldn't mind taking a look into that.
This probably isn't the popular opinion, but do we really need the cars based off their real prices? Berkay has given us a tool that allows us to decide what race rewards we get. It just seems like a lot of work when you can change your race rewards to suit your play style and the amount of work you have to do to earn cash for cars.
I've taken a look at GlideImage's changes to car prices and I think most of you will be happy with them. They're well rounded and accessible. There's no super expensive car prices compared to my own prices.
Also, what was wrong with the Limited Edition cars that you had to fix? I'm pretty sure I tested them in freeroam unless I somehow missed them. Do you need to check each car's basket number to really know if they're buggy or not?

The basket files have the resell price in them ( <ResalePrice>0</ResalePrice> ), if you open the preset_rides catalog xml each price for the car is before the basket number for that car. Just a matter of what percent you want a resell for the selling price.
The Limited Edition cars::
In the image you posted about the Elise I noticed the Cayman Limited Edition you had selected, the numbers were wrong so I went in a bought the car and sure enough, I added a performance part and got negative numbers, so I went and bought every Limited edition and found the 370z was bugged also. So I corrected the physicalprofilehash numbers in their basket files and all is good.
Sometimes when you buy a car the OA is wrong to the Class indicator for the car so it may show 560 (B) overall or numbers in a class it isn't and show as a D Class car so the numbers are wrong for the class. So the basket is using a number for another car maybe another Cayman and it is incorrect'
I didn't notice this before when I bought every car from the dealer.

Back a couple page berkay mentioned he will re-do all the baskets, icons, resale prices etc.etc.
If berkay does do this then I'd wait if you want to do any changes, especially if other things are done in the basket files other then resell price.
I mean you can experiment with it a bit if you like until any new release is done because until then we have what we have and we make.

Yeah, I think I'm done editing stuff until the next update. Really looking forward to it whenever it may be. Fingers crossed we get one more update before Christmas
EDIT: Here are my car prices added to the game if you're interested in taking a look:
If you do, can you please test something for me? When I start a fresh server and add my prices, when I go to buy a car I don't get charged. But if I buy 2 or 3 more cars it abruptly sets my cash at 0.

EDIT:
Ok I bought the first car and it did not deduct the price, then after buying the second the IGC was set to "0" hmmm That is interesting for sure.

As for leveling the cars, I am not sure how that would be done. This question was asked. I do not recall what an answer was about it, in the offline server thread.

Might be worth noting that I didn't minify the file once I finished editing it. It didn't seem to make a difference so I didn't worry about it. Although I did go back and minify it to see if it made a difference and it didn't anyway.
I think i've just made a mistake in the code somewhere when adding prices. Oh well, I'll add them manually again with the next update. Hopefully that will fix the problem.

EDIT:: I also used Notepad++, Berkay posted instructions on how to do it and I've been doing it as he directed.
"Pretty print the XML using some online prettifier like: XML Pretty Print
Copy that into Notepad++.
Change Language to XML.
Do your stuff.
Minify the XML using some online minifier like: XML minifier online
Copy that into Notepad++.(replace the old one completely)
Save."

give me a sec, I just did a global replace, I replaced > < with >< I am going to see if that is the issue..

Well that didn't do anything for the buying and "0" igc but was worth a try.

Mine, it works. I used notepad++ to edit it, but I left the xml as it was just went through and changed the prices. I narrowed the window to put the wall of text in a more usable column because when ever I would convert the wall into a column it would cause errors in my xml's. Think that is why I never had any working mods for v1.7
I did try changing the 10,000,000 to 9 because I know the original game only registered 9,999,999 but that didn't change anything, I tried removing the space between > < and that didn't work, converting it back to a wall of text... nothing I did changed anything. Not sure what is causing it.

You can do it with only Notepad++ and it's plugin. Install plugin "XML Tools" and from it's menu choose "Pretty print (XML only - with line breaks)" for first part of Berkay's instruction, and "Linarize XML" - for second

Thanks for that! That will come in handy!
EDIT: I've been doing a lot of editing of aftermarket prices and I noticed this while trying to equip a carbon fibre hood. It appears to turn into what looks a bit like a chain linked fence.....
This also happens some bodykits which have the same thing on them.
Photo here:
ANOTHER EDIT: I tested this with a different car and the carbon hood looks normal. It may be just the 370Z.

That would be the basket files hash numbers not correct or the part is not for the car applied to...
So much was added to the server once it was released many people working the files could be a crossed number or wrong part. Not sure really!
