It's the equivalent of bash scripts on Linux.

In terms of the offline server, batch files are the fallback, but requires more technical skill to get it running.
(Start the server emulator with 0-host.bat, then create & edit shortcut for .nfsw.exe client to start)

Yeah I don't but I clicked on all the .bat files and it says started in however many milliseconds but never starts up

Yea once thats open, launch ur 'NFS Offline shortcut' you created

How much is an extra bit, and do I add it to the target or to the cmd prompt that pops up when I launch 0-host?

Yup, I've redownloaded and clicked on host, do I need to extract nfsw-srv-1.0.jar?

if you go back to the first page and redownload the server, you shouldnt need to input that command into the shortcut target. Just open up serverlaunch.exe and find ur nfsw.exe

lol it was in an older readme here:

Create a shortcut of nfsw.exe to your desktop, it's usually located at: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data\nfsw.exe

Right-click on the shortcut and click properties.

On the first textbox(Target) you will see nfsw.exe written at the end. Click right of it and press Space to add a space. After that paste this there: "US" aaaaaaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaaaaaaaaaa 11111111

Extract the server.rar downloaded.
Run 0-host.bat

Run NFSW from the shortcut.
