If it's NFSW Data Files are installed on the other drive it doesn't matter, looks like you can't launch the original launcher, to fix go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > Turn On/Off features ( on left side ) and turn on NET 3.5.

Should work now.

im on 8.1 and tried the same thing, i have everything on a separate external hard drive, game files and all. i went to turn on framework 3.5, and found that 3.5 and 4.5 are turned on for me, and i still get the same framework error.
what should i do lol, i dont understand whats happening

Download the latest update for 3.5 then (google) install and restart

You should restart the game, untill you solve the problem.

Yeah, or you can run and get the latest ones from Windows Updates, I think there should be SP1 update for 3.5

Is that done through RUN? Sorry I'm not very good with computers when it gets into the really techy stuff. Or do I need to go into the features on and off stuff and double click it or something? Or should I just Google it to make it easy haha

I'm having trouble getting my NFS World launcher to run offline. I got EZ_Python and mitmproxy through the web instead of through PowerShell which seems to have worked. 0-host now runs, but I'm having trouble with step seven.

1: Create a shortcut of nfsw.exe to your desktop, it's usually located at: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed World\Data\nfsw.exe
(I've always had the shortcut ever since I got World.)

2: Right-click on the shortcut and click properties.

3: On the first textbox (Target) you will see nfsw.exe written at the end. Click right of it and press Space to add a space. After that paste this there: "US"

aaaaaaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaa-aaaaaaaaaaaa 11111111
(That entry is not a valid path on my computer. You mean to tell me that it should look like this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Games\Need for Speed World\Need For Speed World\GameLauncher.exe "US"

4: Extract the server.rar downloaded.
5: Run 0-host.bat
6: Run NFSW from the shortcut.
7: Profit.

Another one of my problems is that cars/car slots can't be found from ServerEditor, and there is no ".xml" in the name of the file. And can I use ServerEditor while playing? I'm sorry if this has been some completely stupid **** for me to ask.

That extra bit is a command you add to make sure the game runs on the server

Make sure the save file and cars are in the same folder and remove the .xml

Not sure about using server editor in game pretty sure it wont work

Have u tried running the game through the bat file?
