[Request] r100 modded client.exe

I'm not a robot with perfect memory, but I distinctly remember getting the same error as I was trying to figure out how to work pake with r99.

The solution was the modded Client, so the Client.exe file has to be modified.
Only, I don't know how to modify .exe files

i got it working on 2 other comps like that o-o... , used the old pake folder, loaded updateskip.dll and it worked. but on self's lappy.. -error at login-
...the logic? that dll skips hs update ;-;..

I can confirm that the skip dll provided do the trick. As said above, check for data folder and any overwrited files from the r100 patch.

There might be issues with 64bit versions of Win7, when using updateskip.dll.

Few of my testers couldn't get it working, and I have NO clue why.

lol noob question... i guess hackshield done updated... so just download pake again and it will have old hackshield... then this in mabifolder... and do u set mng too load it... i do not even know if i need it.. i can get onl and play then bout 5 to 10 min it freezes... the error code is 0xe9040019

Win 7 user here, client crash error as well

Thanks to shadowsforu, goldencoolsa, and Tylian for the responses.

I am running 64-bit. So there's a chance I just might be out of luck? I'll take a look at my data folder. Anything in particular I should be looking for to get rid of?

EDIT: You were right. I went into MNG and turned off using the data folder before .pack. So it is something in there. However, I really need to use the data folder, because I'm attached to the skin/GUI that I was using.

If anyone could point me in the right direction of what kind of files/folders need to be removed from the data folder in order to get it working properly, that'd be wonderful. Until then, I'll at least be happy with having pake work, even if the game looks ugly.

Are you using an old HS folder? What are the first two numbers on your MNG set at, 0 and 0?

1. Yes. I'm using the HShield folder from the last version of pake (Pake r99.rar).
