Also only the top jump is needed as, once that's jumped, the processor cannot access any of the code in between anyways.
Also easier way, just ctrl + n and find iself@icharacter, then look through each one with a call to getcurrentskill above it : )
Or even better, all of this is in the procedure called "isenablemovingaim" : ) ^_^~

LOL
If you trace back to any jumps that could fuck up ur top jump, u'll see there's nothing.
And if you just make it jump to the end of the code, there is nothing else that can jump back : P

I went ahead and quoted all the correct posts in this thread.
Congratulations Aldeel, what an excellent way to make PVP easier by removing the elves' ability to move while aiming.

1.) I never said for anyone to get a better connection, I said connection improvements, as in improving your current connection.
A.) If they're over seas and using dial-up, they probably shouldn't be playing such a connection reliant game in the first place.
B.)Again, improving the connection you already have.
2.)Lag is not programmed into the game. Yes, some of the programming may be sloppy and make it harder on people with connections that aren't so great, but you can overcome many of these issues with proper tweaking to your connection. I can say this from experience since I am an East Coaster who has a low-end cable connection and once played with DSL.
Due to location, I'm at a natural disadvantage, especially when it comes to PVP. However, due to proper tweaking which allows my computer to handle in-coming and out-going traffic better I can play on par with most West Coasters I've met.
Of course, there are mods you could use instead of fixing your connection as well, this just isn't one of them.

Isn't it funny how I didn't get elf lag until I upgraded my processor to a Phenom II 955 Black edition. This has nothing to do with connection issues. people I know in California still get this lag. Come back when you actually know what elf lag is.

So it really does have to do with multi-core processors?

Here's a test case for you:
Prime the range skill.
Click on a location.
While you're moving to said location, go ctrl-click something (aim).
If you have this mod in place, you'll stop in your tracks to aim.
If you have the sense to realize what this mod actually does and not use it, you will aim while moving to your location.
All this mod does is force IsEnabledMovingAim to return false removing an advantage elves have over humans. Of course, some elves prefer not to be able to aim while moving towards (or away from) their target, whatever floats your boat. Horseback archery may be more of a pain, though.

Come back when you can tell the difference between a real mod and a placebo.

Dunno what you morons have a problem with.
Kou, this changes nothing for me on moving while aiming, I don't pause when I go to shoot or any of that, I shoot and hit a hell of a lot more often.
Without this in place, I can't keep up with anyone in the arena scene range wise, with it I can hold my own because I can aim faster. If I also might include, I'm at rF and can hit at 30 - 40% with this, without it I can hardly hit 80's.

That's exactly what I meant, it doesn't do what it's supposed to do. You're changing IsEnabledMovingAim to jump to a false result after it checks if your character is an elf. This should disable the aiming animation while moving, however it does nothing of the sort. I've tested this myself before coming here to say it doesn't work.
Any effects caused by modding this function are client sided and have no actual effect on game play server sided. If you want to test it out, do the reverse of this and force it to always treat your charcter as an elf, get on a human, and get a friend to record a pvp match or you attacking a monster or something. You'll notice that on your screen, you'll walk and aim as a human, but on your friends video, and to everyone else, you'll stop, aim, and then fire when you do get to your location.
To why you hit better: I'm not sure, maybe you're using SoG better since you believe you'll range better, or you've just been hella unlucky when you didn't use this. I don't know, but I know that I've tested this multiple ways, and the way you did to give you the benefit of the doubt and it has proved to do nothing different.
To people saying elf lag is caused by multi-core processors:As I said, you can use fixes to get rid of that. It's a fix I've been using ever since elves have been out, I run an E6750 Duo core processor btw.
Again, most issues people have can be solved with proper tweaks and connection improvements. As an East Coaster, I am proof of this.

You know that the actual process of aiming is server-sided, right? All your client is doing is sending a packet that is saying "I am aiming" followed by the attack packet whenever you choose to shoot. Aim calculations are done server-side and thus won't be manipulated with mods.
And even if it can, the purpose of the function you are modifying is to identify whether you can aim while moving, hence IsEnabledMovingAim which your mod effectively forces a false result. I am interested in your justification on the modifications past the first JMP which jumps over the rest of the block and forces that 0 result.

All above are true. And why you hit more, it's cause you can SoG easier. You're used to the human SoG, and using that tweak allows me to SoG better, but it does kill my essentials as the point of me playing as an elf. Now whether you'd want to stay in place or not while aiming is up to the player.

This.
It was actually my curiosity to JMP all of em, no real justification. I looked at it, the first JMP jumps all the way to the bottom of the code, so no they do nothing.

I'll try that, I myself never thought to see if it's changing anything at all on the other persons side. Though the part in bold doesn't make much sense to me. Care to explain a little better?
Oh just to clear something else up, the "You morons" crack wasn't aimed at either you or Check, I respect the two of you as Legit modders, not fakers. It was at all the people asking questions.

The bold part is what will happen if you do the reverse of your mod.(Making it assume every race is elf, not returning a false result for being elf.) It's another way to test what all effects of that function are client sided or server dependent, I have experimented with it as well as Checkbox(as human movement while aiming was originally a feature he found)
