Rift.lol EXIT SCAM?

Lots of people assuming EXIT SCAM, but anyone know for sure?

It seems like it is.

Talking to the other developers/managers/staff/resellers etc.. it seems like he deleted the Rift staff discord.

Also, they said that he seemed like he didn't really care the last few weeks and that he taught the banwave was going to happen.

It was clear for most people when he announced "No more ban insurance".

The dude made a couple hundreds of thousands of € and he figured he can be fine for a few years. He'd get Riot on his back anyway.

I'm expecting that, once he is broke again, he will do the same **** as Rift, only rebranded and get himself another personality.

About the info he collected, users can only assume the worst, that he'll probably sell it. He had full access of every user's computer once you booted with the Rift boot config.

This might not be true, but this is most likely what happened.

Again... I'm not saying this with a 100% confidence.

That is pretty bad then, from what I have heard and seen he knew something was coming and pushed to get the most he could before he did a runner.

It is a shame people like this are about we just have to rely on karma

It's a shame what happened, but that's probably what happened.

It was confirmed by Voltage(vX22), Alexis and all the other resellers now. Rift,(which is not one person only) did a money grab, including chargebacking the PayPal accounts of the resellers. The estimated loss for each reseller is around 1000€.
The sale in the last few weeks was intended to squeeze as many as possible money out of the customers.

Guys. Do a HDD/SSD Format because he most likely has a RAT on your pc placed now. Better safe than sorry.

It was a predictable outcome if you review the last few weeks of Rift, but a good project of you view it as it is. You got your fun and learned from this.

Ps.: Riot could have also played part in this. But it’s nevertheless a moneygrab.

All things aside, I have been part of this game for qutie a while. Rift.lol was extremely promising with all the features it had. Like, Rift.lol was what BoL wished it could have acheived.
