. I'm 16 years old, born 2000/02/19 (YYYY/MM/DD)The main reason for my application is the fact that I'd like to help keeping our section clean and the atmosphere friendly. I respect our moderators and I just want to help them, as I understand how hard it is sometimes to handle everything and no matter how hard you try, you still get blamed if sometimes isn't done on time. I find it quite understandable that they, just like us, are human-beings and have real life. That is why I want to help them keeping our section the way it is. The past year the section was "dead", but lately there have been changes and people seem to be a lot more active.
I've played DarkOrbit for about 7 years. I'd say I'm one of the really well-informed people, as I've really read a lot and experienced everything in-game. I'm also a member of the DarkOrbit Underground group, which I believe should prove the knowledge I have of the game. I spend some tim everyday playing browser games in my free time and I believe I have the needed experience.
In my honest opinion I'm mentally prepared to fit this job. The last 2 years I've been working with people almost everyday, as my job requires it. It's a small family business and I meet many people everyday(150-200 everyday). Each one of them, no matter whether he's stupid or disrespectful, is important to the business and we need him to be happy. Over the past 2 years I've really learned how to deal with all kind of ignorance/disrespect towards me and just put on a smile and do my job. I have to admit it was really tough in the beggining but over the time I've learned how to stay positive and make people feel comfortable.
I'm eager to learn new skills that can be used to benefit me in my life. I'm a very ambitious person and when I do something I want it done to utmost perfection.
I've absolutely no experience as a moderator, though in real life I've been doing pretty much that - solving customer's problems, helping employees get used to their jobs and helping them with orders and anything they need help with. In my opinion that's pretty much the same, at least viewed from my perspective.
