I remember how i started learning visual basic...
in my holidays my friends werent at home and it was very boring..i just aksed me: why dont you learn a programming language. i watched some tutorials on youtube and tried some stuff, after that i bought a book and i read it in my bed.
After a few days i got the basics and i was able to create simple programs by myself. if i dont know something i just use google. 40% of programming is using google, even if you are very experienced

Reading 2.000 pages books ^^
But I recommend you to start with a language and investigate with every project you do, ask you "What the fuking hell is going to happen if I add this?", or more questions like that ^^
See you!!

Good way to learn network programming?
07/13/2010 - Silkroad Online - 0 Replies
Hi, I'm very intrested in network programming. My knowledge of C++ is very well and I know how to create a socket but I don't know how to use it properly and how ip packets exactly work.
My final goal is to create a bot for silkroad. so it would be nice if it has something to do with that but everything is welcome.
