Once every so long, FFXI changes the "offsets." These are the numbers you find in the .ini files, like MrArgus.ini. You need to update those numbers, just search for "offsets" on the FFXI boards.
Ok everything is workin warp to mob and macro goin off but its not targeting the mob. My macro is just regular
/ja "Provoke" <t>
/wait 1
/attack
but it doesnt work cuz it doesnt target the mob im tryin to get

Exact same problem here too. But then again I'm having the problem of getting my target to release from my last target. Only if I use <t> in chat or macro's is what I mean. So I have to restart ffxi when I get done using MrArgus. But a cheap fix to your problem is changing your macro to this
That is what I use and I target Spook fine(is odd because I don't target until I've claimed him.. but meh.)
Hope that works for ya until someone can figure out why its doing this.

I dont understand why its not auto target for ya?
your macro setup sucks
/ja "provoke"
/wait 1 < why /wait 1 u dont need it and one more thing if u will be able to provoke u will automatic have target on your victim so what u need todo-
/target <t> i s that u voke and target on same time
/target <t> ? <u need to have like /targetnpc!
/target <t>
/wait 1 <u already used wait 1?
Btw if the autotarget wont work for ya plz try this macro setup
Quote:
/targetnpc (note that i didnt wrote any /wait on the pargraph below /targetnpc)
/ja "Provoke" <t> (U can use chat, target and Act macos on same time without use /wait) :?
/wait 1,2 or 3 (u have to check how long it takes from provoke to cooldown so u can start attack! it wont attack if u have too low wait time.)
/attack
I think you misunderstood my problem with MrArgus trashkan.
My problem is that when I have MrArgus start, my <t> is the mobs name(even if the mob is dead or in another area.) For instance, if I am camping Spook and he isn't around when I start MrArgus.. if I type <t> or use <t> in a macro, the <t> will be Spook. Thats why I use my "/ja Provoke <t> /target <t>" macro. When it does provoke it does it without targeting the mob, and thats why I use /target <t>
But.. if I target 'anything' my <t> will be what I targeted, even if its me, until I restart ffxi.
I don't know why I put /wait 1 between provoke and target, tiredness I guess. Took a look at my in-game macro and I don't have /wait 1 between the two, sorry. ps:
i mean the /target <t> = /target <target> = it cant target a target who is not target or why target a target if it is target? ppl dont use /target <t> but its wierd that it works good for u!
/target <t> sounds creepy.. i will target my target =P
/target <persons name> works
/target <npc name> dont work
/targetnpc is the ****
and one more thing with /target command is that squearenix nerfed that one for a time ago,, they were ppl who wrote down nm's name like /target <nm's name> so today u wont be able to use /target command on npc. its really wierd that it works for u
i gues it is your /target <t> who make u restart ffxi igues.. so try what i write /TARGETNPC
Quote:
/targetnpc
/ja "Provoke" <t>
/wait 1,2 or 3
/attack
/target <t> only repeat their target if u will be able get target it will mean that mragus got target for u thet target <t> only repeat it if it works like u say and thats maybe a reason why it target something else before the the nm u camp its because that was the last target u had so it repeat it oldest target...
MrArgus Bot Scripting 09/07/2006 - FFXI Exploits, Hacks, Bots, Tools & Macros - 5 Replies This version of MrArgus can run scripts to the FFXI game. You will need to use the namechanger.dll once again to make it work properly. There are 3 example scripts included as well as a well documented file on how to make new ones.
I did not make / translate / or have any association to the maker of this program. I only share what I find.
