you made a big mistake here by mentioning my server name, coz myself i havent advertised on tq even once...and for my palyers, i have told them if they advertise on tq bc they will not use my server website...so its not my fault.

I haven't read half of the posts here personally but here are some sites every one looking to protect their servers might want to look at. I know there are a lot of people who don't really want to read a lot of legal stuff however if you want to really work to keep your servers running these links are a great place to look.They cover Copyright laws as well as plagiarism laws even the Digital Millennium Act. I truly hope this helps you all out.

well, when and if Hellboy finishes underground it will be about the only LEGAL server born from tqs original design... he has spent his own time and money making sure that we will be able to enjoy it the way that we were meant to... without all the hype, and fluff that tq has become... I h8 to say back in my day (its truely cliche) but when I started tq it was about friends, family, enemies, and for the love of the game, not money and pot and top w/e... we just played... there was no bp, family totems, etc. we just were there to be better players and help each other... or get more pkp then anyone else... pservers help to releive the tension of needing to spend money on a past time rather then spend money making your real life more comfortable, sometimes more then your bills... the fight of an underground civilization isnt bc they want to be more powerfull or richer then anyone... its to get back to what the game SHOULD still be... fun(for the love of ***!!!) fun...

sorry about my rant, but since tqs probly gonna see this too they need to know y underground pservers can and will ALWAYS exist ....

it goes over the SERVER FILES
like ACCOUNT.EXE (copyright TQ)
and GAMESERVER.EXE (copyright TQ)

they doesnt care about the client if you use it or not , they just care over the server files that are copyright protected

then the minor is the game client , and all other things

TOS does not protect the creatiors to vieuw the website

this was the first thing they told me when i contacted my persone to protect me
i suggested it to , they say , TOS DOESNT MATHER it cant prevent some1 for vieuwing your website (funny , see it as vbulletin , just a tos on it and you can use NULLED software ... why not ??)

so , the other stuff can help to prevent that they catch you faster
but as soon they know where the server stands on , then they will contact you
and you risk the 6 months of jail because you use the server files (account.exe and stuff)

so , if you got some other ways to prevent it ?? then please let me know

i am searching a way to to prevent it and i founded a small 1 but not sure if it going works (beta server release is public :S but not 100% sure of it because i am still buzzy whit them )

if what you are saying is true then recoding it in C# ... yes a big job but possible ... take very basic co source changed packet keys and you have a basic server ... yes this work i got as far as logging in so far and just waiting on the packet dll to decompile so the packets can be changed... but if they really dont give a fk about the client why put it in the letter a lot about the client
