Hello there! Today i will ask yours about "Vanilla" Content in our project! Let me explain more: engine, used in UW:Tri, developed not only for this game. And as you know, we want add a new features to UW, principial new, but they will keep UW Universe storyline and background. We need to know, what implement for UW:TRI (but this features for example, planned for other game based on our engine, and we are dont know, how UW fans will react to this content). Well we are needed your feedbacks!

I think, that is better than simple circles and just highlight your target. Here you may see a ship-class, their faction allegiance, status (Friendly, Hostile, Neutral), and some "scan-data" about selected ship.
Well, it looks realy interesting and it's'something that doesn't exist, but don't put too much informations on the screen, imagine if there is an invasion, so about 30 ships in a single area, it will be difficult to see these infos about the ship you targeted

I see what your saying.. but..
I presume the information only shows up when the targeted ship is clicked, meaning you wouldn't see a mass of information when in a big battle! xD
#Edit.. In a big battle tho you need to see exactly what your clicking.. so a targeting circle would be nice to see as it was in original uridium wars

Sorry for late answer. Right now - we are optimize our cluster-based server, and working on content.
New feature: 3D scenes!
What this mean? Static, scripted 3D scenes showed on some actions:
1)Jumpgate travel.
2)Some quests.
3)Station Docking.
Those like "intros" but drawed by game engine. Also you may enable this or disable them in game configs.
Well, time to see a little concept how they will looks!
Note: shiphud - is real, but other things - just concept art. Animated consoles on hud, and scene graphics (background) in progress.
