I have seen the power of HTML5 , he can handloe beautyfull graphics with an really good performences en ressources using !

I have some new questions to ask to you :

The game is in HTML5 Nice ( urban galaxy online) , but it is going to use a lot of ram , processor , graphics card ?

Do you think your game going to be a DarkOrbit modified vertion ? , or an another game based on darkorbit ?
(i thin it it is the second response cus you have make some op changes ! xD)

The graphics... i see all things are cool , but the ships animation looks laggy...
like there is only 8 frames on you ship ? it is normal ?

HTML5 is compatible with others languages ... hehe ? like php html and js ... you going to use multiple languages ? ( don't respond if you don't want )


And the final question :

I have asked you , if the bots are authorised in the server , but you talked about of packet encryption , so only pixelbots are authorized ? ( souds legit)
or its an another thing , cuz packets bots are really op ( Autolock , DMG hacks , guardian accounts , ibot etc...) so talk about it to us a little more plz .

1) Processor and other resources usage mainly depends on browser(various a bit) aaand mainly - from developers skills.

2)yes, and no. That project will be "Extended" version of UW/DO, + features from EvE online. We will keep a DO/UW style, but add alot of new features.

3) On Video - yeah, thats "normally" Sprites have a 32 images (frames) for full rotation. But sometimes, hard to capture that on HD video, caused by graphics quality. Here alot of FPS + particles, lights and other "quality" objects. Server + client on one PC + Recorder resource usage = miss some frames. Thats why it seems "lagged" in video. Problem is - "how you record that?!", not in game render In game, anything looks fine!

4) Yeah! As old HTML. WebGL - not a "library" or plugin, that is standart, format. Next generation of HTML Canvas. And they are coded inside your browser. WebGL libs (public avalible) mainly coded on JavaScript. Well, all of that - compatible with php and other languages.
Just for joke. Unity3D - working on WebGL support too I guess they understands - without that technology - they die so fast hehe. But right now - their lib - uggly, and will be useless for 2+ years as fact. And generally - for Unity3D - that technology, provide....nothing. WebGL format developed not for plugins. I am imagine a implementation of that...and know what? Hehe, products was maded on Unity "WebGL", becomes a moar vulnerable and moar brainfuck. Why brainfuck? Three.JS and other libraries - open sourced and you can change or add something. Instead a Unity propietary "Innovation"

5) Yep, we have a packet encryption.

If you can made a pixelbot - just do this! I am wanna see them! But be careful, for example, NPC's, dont stuppid anymore. They can & do flee, not only wandering, they can form fleets (npc group), they can use tactic tricks (call reinforcement, retry, run to other sector, back to the base, run to safe-spot & repairs + assemble little group for co-operation in actions and etc.) If you can find, where to use them and able to create them - why not?

Goodbye packet bots! My own cryptor dont easy to bypass. They have a stronger resistance than Bigpoint Crypto-algorithm. As fact - if you can hack this, you may easy hack Bigpoint crypted packets.
If you can made a pixelbot - just do this! I am wanna see them! But be careful, for example, NPC's, dont stuppid anymore. They can & do flee, not only wandering, they can form fleets (npc group), they can use tactic tricks (call reinforcement, retry, run to other sector, back to the base, run to safe-spot & repairs + assemble little group for co-operation in actions and etc.) If you can find, where to use them and able to create them - why not?
Lets start then. First of all that looks like an aes/rsa KEY. So that what you said is encrypted data is the stuff to encrypt things with. Even if this is real encrypted data of your own algorithm (you said its yours) it would be way to long to be send over network without noticeable lags. And even if that is encrypted aes/rsa and not the key, you would need to send the key first in order for the client to decrypt it. That key can be sniffed / the packet bot can get it and decrypt it aswell. For rsa sniffing is not that easy but you could force the game to connect to your own proxy which then does some weird things but by doing those weird things the proxy can read the packets. We gonna see how hard is it to crack "your" encryption once your server comes out

=) Not easy huh. By security reasons, i cant explain your moar, but i can tell you - here is not RSA/AES.
I call this system - Aurora. They tested for whole years on my other projects. Result - no one packet bot has been written.

As fact - any protect can be bypassed. But for some systems, that thing require alot of knownlege in crypto-analysis & reverse-engineering. And i can tell your - specialists, who can decrypt it - dont make a bots for "private servers" and browser games

Yeah, work in progress! we are working on it every day hardly. For example, 2 days ago i am finish the Sprite/Data creation tools for creating game content.

Also, here the new functional inside game:
Ingame Cargohold!

All ships right now have a cargohold. And you can see you missles, drag&drop them and do other actions! Here the ship stats too:

Little explain about Defense:
The first value is a total max amount of shield,armor, hull. Second - their resistance stats. For shields - that is % of absorbed damage.(i.e. 25% on screen. in this cause formula for damage: shield - 25%of damage, and armor - ((damage -25%) - 50hp of damage resistance). Works simple. ). For armor and hull - that is amount of damage resistance. For example, if you are got a 1000 inflict damage, and you armor has 200hp resist rate - you armor value has been reduced by damage only by 800. Same with hull. =) Also, here the new modules for it. For example, armor plates - they will increase armor amount and resistance, but reduce your dodge factor.

Me not alone works on it. =) But here are complex task. That project - not just "private server". That is fully re-creation whole game. Also, that requires some time for do that. Ofc, moar easier to make just "clone" based on flash. That is easy way, but we dont like easy ways. We are working on new game, and that game should have a high quality. Primary target of this project is - "create a game based on Uridium Wars, and make them better than original ones.", not a -
That project will be "official" styled game with alot of new content, balanced gameplay and many features.
We are really wanna launch this project for our players in this year. And we are working for it! Here are tonns of works, but we are strong and do all things fast as we can.

They are not using the Darkorbit swf. If they don't use ship images or such from them there won't be copyright issues with bigpoint.
