This game is custom, caused by changes in alot of gameplay. Also, custom graphics too, based on all of this (2014+2011+2009 versions). Based on UW and with custom graphics and systems.
Just look this:
That MMO outpost have a powerful weaponry:
x3 Anti-proton Beam Cannons,
x1 Heavy 1200mm Artillery Hotwizer Cannon,
x1 Citadel Cruise Torpedo Launcher.
And that is a part of Territory Wars. + Here you can see the few little turrets near "new" Concord station (new NPC-neutral faction, but! i will little explain your)
On that stations (not outpost hehe) you can buy a Goliath blueprint and build them self in skylab. Ahh yeah, here no more "Top-Ships" in shop for both - uridium and credits. For example, if you want a Goliath you needs:
x1 Bluprint for Goliath + x10 Armor Plates + 10 Battlecruiser Battery Capacitors + 10 Battlecruiser Shiled coils + some other components. And after some time - you get your goliath. Also, this parts avalible for craft : x1 Blueprint + Promerium + Duranium and etc = x1 Part for ship.
Aaand mainly feature! On Concord stations, (and only on it!) You able to trade with other players! (Neew market system!) Well, you can directly buy Goliath from other player(or part for build that), or craft them for self or/and for selling! =)
Here alot of new changes, and we can talk about them - alot of time =)

Bump. still a live! I dont have a so much time for update this thread, caused by my work on this project. Right now, we are working on UI and new graphics for our project. Well, at current time, we dont have a plan to change ships, but items. oh yeah, items. Needs your opinions about new items!
LF's lasers! (LF1 & LF2)
Aaand ammo for it! (LCB-10)
Also you may see here a interface background.  We are working on new UI too =) That will be moar sci-fi, and moar mainstream for that genre.
A bit moar about release dates and etc. Sorry guys, but i cant tell you right now - "the date is...". But we have a plans to release that on September +\- But date - can be changed, caused by ours others game projects (and RL hehe). Well, i can tell your only one fact - in this year.
Hard to make a whole game from sketch, for 1-2 months. But we are working hard.
Well, i am waiting a your opinions about those items showoff guys!

Yeah, you are right! =) And turrets are maded from item icon (XL projectile for dreads and titans).
But that is not a final stations, hehe, and they can be changed. Just a little concept-fun art.
ps.
Play on EvE from 2004 - nowadays. GoonSwarm  well, our other game - same as EvE online, but not that. And have a better & "realistic" graphics quality(imho). Hehe, yes we are able to create a serious games "AAA" quality.

Some little questions :
Hello Fenrisus really nice project i wish you and ice shock can do this ! , now i have some questions to you :
Why you d'ont use Flash as a engine for your game ?
This engine will work with 30fps max or 60+ fps or higher ?
( cuz i have seen your videos and the game isn't fluid , its laggy...)
The server will have a DDOS protection and no lag ?
The game will be P2W ? , and with a lot of adds ?
( You should add ads , but not **** like ADF-ly ruining the game , and some pay features but not OP)
Can i make a little "Launcher" , or a "Downloadable version" with a pre made cache to prevent bugs and lags ?

Will you add an AntiBot system ?
(I wish not because bots are awsome !)

1) Flash - is outdated technology. In age of creation - here no alternatives to do that. + We dont wanna using a BP client in cause - them obfuscated (by parts), hard to implement something new. On our client we can implement everything.
2) DDOS protection is important thing. And we have them.
3) No no no! No ADS, Banners, and other bull$h!t. Not in our projects. Pay 2 win? NOOOOO! If someone wanna pay2win, gotta go to BP hehe. We do a server not for money making. Just for fun and community, becouse original game is dead and ruined by their owners.
Here will be normally donate system (i am calling this - "free as beer". If beer so good - pay 3-5$ for it is not a problem), and fair-play, interesting game style. Where your personal skills depends on game moar than your wallet capacity.
4) "Downloadable version" Chache with graphics & other content will automatically chached same as Unity doing that. You dont need "download game again and again".
5)Thats other issue - why we are using our client. No one of current bots is compatible with our game client. Well, players create bots becouse farm things - not interesting and players tired do that manually. Well, we are working on it in EvE style (in EvE - from 2003-nowadays no one NPC killer bots is exist. Impossible to make them, caused by game mechanics.)
6) Sure! New laaarger map! New items, ships and monsters will be here! You should a "Fly and explore the galaxy! discover a new systems and fight vs strongest enemies and get an awesome benefits!". Why not? I am working right now on Wormhole system. Wormhole space - aka Instances. That maps will be created dynamically and always will change. Wormhole - some type of Jumpgate but "Timed". After your enter the space - here alot of system. But be careful here. That is dangerous place. "Gates" here always changed their positions and "space sectors" changes too, same as NPC enviroment lives in this space.
7) Why one moar? That is non-playable NPC faction. That is "United Human Confederacy" goverment. Each company (EIC, VRU, MMO) - helps UHC and that faction, protect a Humans from Alliens threat. For that faction - no matter who controls the space, becouse that companies are part of Human Confederacy. Finally, that faction, makes a DO storyline moar deep and interesting. Also them provides a moar quest features like : "Brave pilot! Our navy fleet has been trapped by Lordakias in %sector_name%. Call your friends and help our forces repel that invaders!" And you may see a ships of that faction fighting vs aliens.
PS. Iceshock - not in a dev team actually. Our repositories is private & protected. Acess to this files have a only developers (me - server, AVSH - client). Our designer, who make a graphics - have a only... graphics  and dont have a acess to that. Dont care about that.
