It is not a DDS edit. This is an experimental .c3 model exported from a .obj model. This is the link to the original model I experimented with:

Thanks, maybe one day, at least after it stabilizes. There is manual work to be shown and more things I want to try.

does anyone have the original garment dds file for the kakashi garment? i am trying to make it work for big male char as well.

The attached file contains a dds, doesn't it? Do you mean by original the one in the link? If this is the case you need to bake the different textures into a single one (google bake materials to textures).
Another solution would be to use my importer (just updated it) to import Kakashi for the small male and edit the model as you see fit then export it.
