Editing DDS Files (How-To)

sorry for spamming, but theres no way to edit a post to have a pic >

anyway, i copied the whip.club folder from co2 into co1 because i remembered someone posting modified minimaps before and i had to create a folder and the map auto loaded... and guess what? the clubs DID load. with one problem though... it doesnt like the black background

if anyone has some input it would be greatly appreciated, if not im just going to start trying colors until i get one that it screens out

ps- that isnt me in the pic

i took a picture of a random person i found in the market

thats stupid... there are billions of colors and the chances of me finding the exact color they used before i turn 90 is slim

i think this is where the reverse engineering of the client i heard about before comes in

easy dude, i got same problem with clubs... when you edit the clubs and the plugin-pop-up for save the file... use "2D-Texture" not "volume texture" or "cube map"

here red/black clubs, edit the name to use it for your lvl... thats now for 120...

the club file loads fine in game, but im having problems getting the originals to work in game still. can you fix an original and post it? i prefer to work with originals rather than someone elses creation :P
