o, ok wasn't sure, thank you for clearing that up. Guess the only way to do this is either buy or get a cracked version :P
Or you could get some trial, must be possible. I've got the software, legit, for free.
Besides you could also download the 2010 beta version, works like a charm, but it does cause a lot of lagg when using teamviewer.

You cannot explicitly set it to 32-bit in the UI in VS Express, but it can be done using a bit of setting up. Just read the quote.
Quote:
1- In VC# Express, go to Tools -> Options.
2- In the bottom-left corner of the Options dialog, check the box that says, "Show all settings".
3- In the tree-view on the left hand side, select "Projects and Solutions".
4- In the options on the right, check the box that says, "Show advanced build configuraions."
5- Click OK.
6- Go to Build -> Configuration Manager...
7- In the Platform column next to your project, click the combobox and select "".
8- In the "New platform" setting, choose "x86".
9- Click OK.
10- Click Close.

Do you know where UI stands for?
Then, I didn't refresh your thread and i posted it right away when you asked for it. I didn't check your thread nor the other posts. I was just helping you out.

Oddly enough there was no time difference between the compiles.. is that normal? because you stated that it would be slower.

DWM.exe has stoped working anyone ever experiance this (i even ran a test on my own computer) seems to be the vps.. but ****..

My project was quite large (some 7 projects), it took the compiler a while to adjust to my changes the first build after the change, so i guess it depends on the size of your project, it doesnt really make any difference, so nothing to worry about.

Ive not experienced that myself no.

Thats a problem with your database, not the fact that its in 32bit mode. Ask in the FAQ thread for 5165.

Well its definately a problem with the database im sorry to say, read what the exception says.

"Input string was not in a correct format."

In other words, its trying to convert something to a string which is not meant to be a string.

This has nothing to do with 32/64bit.
