should be the right client, im using hamachi, and idk how to check if the ports are opened >.<

Oh you don't need ports open if you're using hamachi and uhmm yeah check if you're having a connection to your database also try break point your code and check where it stops.

Ohhh it doesn't use MySql. Do you get any exceptions? Also like I said before try to breakpoint and follow your code. You can set breakpoints by pressing at the block beside the line number and you can use F10 to follow each instruction.
