If you're serious about this project, I could offer myself to help with web related stuff. Hit me up if interesting, you won't be disappointed.

About the video, I went to check out your newest one you posted on my laptop and it looked super ****** up. After disabling hardware acceleration (right click video, options, disable hardware acceleration) and then refreshing, the video was fine so I believe it's a problem with the encoder you use.

I think u could implement the dodge or fix it maybe, the attack rate looks like 100%(never blocked any attack of the birds at the start of the video, that is what i mean)..

We haven't implemented dodge just yet, but it will be added for sure.

As for the encoding, it's possible either that I'm streaming at 1440p resolution, and the vid card doesn't handle it, or lack of x264 support in the hardware. I'm willing to bet it has to do with resolution and possibly lower-end cards not having support for such high res.

As for the website, I'l probbably contact you I suppose. I'm looking to code it all in ASP.NET MVC, and if you haven't worked with it (but have worked with .NET / C#), it'll be very easy to pick up. I already have a few themes adapted for the MVC style of web design

I have for some clients and built some advanced applications in it, although I would go for PHP if it were up to me.

Why do you want to use PHP? PHP is the biggest disgrace to web.

Thanks for linking me to a blog, what's your point? As for everything, there's one side that prefer x, and the other y. I feel so much more in-control with PHP over ASP.NET, the development is much more rapid (even though I can use the .NET library, I know)

I've done some big projects in ASP, PHP and even Ruby on Rails, and I choose PHP hands down. But then again, we're not all the same.

I have also written my own framework that I use in pretty much every project of mine.

My point was that the blog lists every single problem with PHP. Please let me quote this from the blog.

Do not tell me that “good developers can write good code in any language”, or bad developers blah blah. That doesn’t mean anything. A good carpenter can drive in a nail with either a rock or a hammer, but how many carpenters do you see bashing stuff with rocks? Part of what makes a good developer is the ability to choose the tools that work best.

Very cool. Do you have anything else to add? Seriously though, this is an endless discussion - you can stick to your ASP.NET and I stick to my PHP. I enjoy PHP, especially if you're doing it right (MVC, custom framework, CMS, good structure and logic). I don't like the idea of feeling limited, which I do with ASP.NET

We might aswell ask ourself if Linux is better than Windows, if Mac is better than PC, iPhone or Android, apples or oranges - etc etc. You get my point? You can't pick one over the other, at the end it comes down to the developer, don't you agree?

PHP is not bad enough, so yes, a good developer can do a good code in PHP, and probably better than in ASP if he master the language. I'm sure you can find a blog which say that ASP is crap for x, y, z reasons. Every language has defaults, some have to many defaults and are crappy languages, but in general, you can deal with it. PHP is old and probably not perfect, but is still a good language.

And, well, ASP might be really good, you need IIS with .NET (or Mono, but without all the performance of the .NET), and well, Windows servers aren't the more reliable in the world in general... Only for the fact that PHP can be ran on ANY platform would make me chose this language.

Unix better than Windows, Mac (Unix-like) better than Windows, iOS better than Android (shh, Java)

1440p require H.264 level 5, which isn't common as the level 4. I'm not sure if it's really supported by hardware. Could be the problem.

Sounds interesting, i've been looking for some Co server to play on. Can't wait for the finished product. Been bored out my mind and feigning to play some Conquer but no servers that are out that catch my eye. I keep coming back everyday hoping for a new server to open up that keeps me playing at it.
By closed invites only does that mean only people you invite? Because i'd like to give it a try to keep me occupied, have too much time on my hands.

Did I ever say ASP in a single post? No.

But now that you're at it, ASP.NET outclasses PHP at every single point.

On top of that, node.js hands-down

Here's a brief overview of a campaign we've started working on to get the idea of the kind of game play we're going for; also it's important to note potions have been drastically nerfed and are NOT spammable like in regular Conquer:

What is an Instance/Campaign?
An instance, or campaign is an event that is offered around the hour. There will be many of these, and many of these will over lap with one another to create a wide variety of options for players so they never feel like they're doing the same thing repeatedly (in other words, they don't feel like they're grinding). A campaign has a straight forward objective that you, and you team work towards. Campaigns depend on the team. Unlike dynamic events, if the campaign is successful, everyone receives equal rewards; if it is unsuccessful you are rewarded proportionally to how close you were to completeing the objective.

Taoists will play a big roll in instances as almost all instances will require large amount of healing, supporting, and reviving. Archers also receive a large roll in the instances, due to being able to easily pull aggression from the monsters.

Note things marked with a # are susceptible to change in the actual release.

Name: Defense of Twin City
Type: Instance / Campaign
Team Limit Size: 5#
Objective: Defend the NPCs of the city from the invading waves of Monsters

Examplanation:
Several NPCs around the city will be moved near the center of Twin City. Waves of monsters (4#) will spawn and begin attacking the NPCs (this will be their primary target and focus). You must kill the monsters before they can fully overtake the NPCs. NPCs will recover HP gradually, and cannot be healed by players.

You can view the hitpoints of the NPCs in the top right of your screen during the campaign to monitor their life.
If an NPC dies, there is no way to revive it . (sun)

Monsters are dynamic, and fluent unlike Conquers monsters. They are not as easy to kite and avoid (and even in this case, you wouldn't want to be avoiding them or else they'll go for the NPCs!)

What determines success?
Assuming you fail (to perfectly complete) the campaign, your success will be rated on what wave you were on, and the amount of NPCs that survived the campaign.

----------------------------

We will post screenshots, as well as a video showing an example of this so people can get an idea of our goals and what we're working towards. We're revolutionizing how Conquer is played, and making it far more enjoyable and interactive.

The first Campaign / Instance
This is still really rough lots of things need adjusting (especially attacks, defenses, etc). However all that will be done during the beta. This is to give you a look at what some of the instances will be like:

However, we don't plan on using the same idea for every instance. For example, one could require you to catch a monster as it jumps around and kill it, or perhaps collect flags, kill bosses ( or multiple boss stages even), and other things. We'll be using community feedback on building these instances.

Sorry. My error. I don't know what, I though you did somewhere while answering.

I don't know if we can say that in English, but if I do literal translation from French, you have really stopped (fixed ?) ideas about programming languages. You destroyed Java previously (well, I really dislike the language too), but there are some cases where the language is adapted, etc. PHP too.

Anyway, that's not the point of the topic.

The Egg of Mortal Essence This item's description is," Your direct healing and heal over time spells have a chance to increase your haste rating by 505 for 10 secs." However, after patch 3.0.8, i noticed that it procced off a damage spell. I did some testing at a target dummy and found that arcane missiles can cause the trinket to proc. This makes it a great trinket choice for arcane mages for the amount of badges needed to purchase it. I also heard that it procs off the warlock spell...
