im a bit new to this but does chaging the 32ed code from 1 to 2 on change the range or a weapon from 1 handed to 2 handed? i ahve tried this with my wars club and doest appear to work
with the tradeing thing, im not sure if it still works, i saw it in a really olfd] post and added it in, as of when it was posted you could only sell in market with it not trade, but iif you havwe both people with the making iyt tradeable it might work, like edit it and open up 2 windows and see if u can trade.

if you have a quest item that is untradeable you can make it tradable!
well it doesnt actually trade unless both people have it edited so that you can trade it, at least you can sell it in the market tho.(correct me if im wrong)
click ctl+f to find the item that u want to be able to trade or w/e
go to entry 11, and change it from 3 to 0
i dont think it is possible, dosent the server block you from doing this?
if it was possible to make it tradable to the server, we could make it super, and the server will think it is
[img]text2schild.php?smilienummer=1&text=forgive my ignorance' border='0' alt='forgive my ignorance' />
the items number breaks down everything u need to know baout the item basically
take
111303 IronHelmet
if you take the number and break it down it will endup something like this
1 unknown
1 unknown
1 Class
3 Color
0 base Level (0 - lowest 9 - highest)
3 Quality
the main thing u need to look for is the Quality Numver
0 - Fixed
3 - Normal 1
4 - Normal 2
5 - Normal 3
6 - Refined
7 - Unique
8 - Elite
9 - Super
thats for Armor, Shields, helms
for other items the first 5 numbers mean other things like in weapons the first 3 decide the weapon type
This is what ive Found out so far ill work more on it when i find out
Maybe useless knowledge but hey lol its what ive noticed (from game programing)
Can't figure out how to edit weapon range with this... Changed name of itemtype.dat to monster, decrypted, opened it and changed the corresponding slots for range (spot 32 I believe it is) saved it, clicked reencrypt, it asked if I wanted to start CO so I said yes and it didn't even start. Started it manually and nothing's different.

it probably isnt possible and yes they do checkbut for ppl making their own servers it could be useful.

It should work, you need to change the 1 on the club to a 2, if u change to anything lower than a 1 or higher than a 2 it will not do anything at all. and i think ur problem was that u diddnt rename it back to itemtype.dat when you re-rencryptd it
Hee, i still got the exp pot from last year which last 2hrs, i would like to know if i edited it to trade will it still be tradable and usable and whether its safe to do it.
Originally posted by hellrazer@Jan 3 2007, 04:38 the tradeing the untradeable isnt possible anymore, but if it was possible it would be compleatly possible
the id numbers for the 3x and 5x xp pots r
720393 3x
720394 5x

I have recently added the 135-137 gears patch, and I noticed all the Weapons and Armours have the same stats as the 120-130's, which kind of defeats the object for me, I edited the Values in itemtype.dat both in my OldCODB and in my Client, Built and ran server, but it had no effect, then a friend told me about itemtype decrypting and something to do with editing sqldata, I am a total noob when it comes to this so I...
