1st line is for the Peace token
2nd line is for Chaos
3rd line is for Deserted
4th line is for Prosperous
5th line is for Disturbed
6th line is for Calmed
You should edit in accordance to this
I attached an already edited itemtype.dat for the commandtokens only... I know I don't have too many posts, but you can do it yourself following hellraizer's guide copleted with mine.
btw, i want credit for my contribution
Enjoy
nice cooperation
took me about 20 mins to make it as one of my friends had one of each token, and he knew which one was which.
The procedure was: i named all six token from 1 through 6, wrote down which number corresponded to which tactic, and afterwards edited the itemtype.dat.
Hope everyone can make something of this and of course most of the credit goes to hellrazer for figuring out how to edit the file.
what about a full edit of the file shows all the items quality so my life be more simple edit every thing and give us a fille we just replace (sound lazy )
also could u tell if the item is + or no where to edit
finaly most thx fot ur efforts any way
i dont know how to add karma but i would love toif any one tells me how
regards
There is NO way to see if an item is +ed before someone picks it up bc it can physically be +ed till someone picks it up, if you want to know more bout that, than read up on it within forums and this is a guide its not supposed to have the actual edit, iyts supposed to be here so that other people learn how to edit it!
and @ sykes 1 dont double post, 2 this doesnt use a hex editor!
Ok gr8 ty Reddo i alredy did this one else i have a quastion some items have only 7 lines what shall i do with them what qualti should i ignore then please advice
regards
ps i figered out how to add karma and i did give u
ty for ur work man
somne should have 7 and some should have 8, the ones with 7 DONT have a FIXED version and the ones with 8 do, if you read the tut a little more carefully ull see that i said to look for the FIXED at the end ofm the first line in the block of the item, igf it isnt thater than start with Normal 1 insted of fixed, and go down the rest fo the way.
I bolded and italiced (I know these aren't actual words) the important parts and underlined the lines pointingout the answer to your question

Fixed: better than elite and sometimes super but cant be upgraded or +ed or improved in quality.
Normal 1: Worst version of the item
Normal 2: slightly better than Normal 1
Normal 3: best version of the item that is normal and not fixed.
Refined: slightly better than Normal
Unique: Better than refined
Elite: better than Unique
and Super: Best (besides Fixed)
OK, now that we have decided which is which (NOTE:they will allways be in this order and a lot dont have fixed so look at the end of the first one befor writing fixed.) We can Change the Name in ENTRY 2 to say w/e u decide to make it say.
for my example i put the first letter of its quality in brackerts in front of the name of the item(you may write it however you choose and canput it in front, back middle, after the first letter, whatever u find best for yourself!)
guys i want to say that i tried to make some untradble items tradble it never works i ganged the value of bible to 0 isteasd of 3 it still says can't be traded i may need some help about making items tradable

[Request] Itemtype Decryption Guide 07/22/2010 - CO2 Private Server - 0 Replies Sorry if there is already a Guide on this, I could not find it using Search.
I have recently added the 135-137 gears patch, and I noticed all the Weapons and Armours have the same stats as the 120-130's, which kind of defeats the object for me, I edited the Values in itemtype.dat both in my OldCODB and in my Client, Built and ran server, but it had no effect, then a friend told me about itemtype decrypting and something to do with editing sqldata, I am a total noob when it comes to this so I...

1. See the Quality of Items on the ground before you pick them up.
2. See CommandTokens, so you know which ones you have already.
3. See where the WindSpells will take you at a glance.
