Sorry for a Noob question. But i will ask... I just resently downloaded this bot and look at it. I was wondering if someonce can help me to know more knowledge about it. Can you hunt with this bot? If not, what thread or bots goes along with this bot to hunt? Waiting for an answer... Thank You..

Addressed some of the minor bugs people found (ty guys)

@joek > I did as Dannydunno had said to do and it worked. The trans function works for me now. I did the regsvr32 after trying your new version 1.22 because I still got the error. But regsvr32 MSSTDFMT.DLL got rid of the error. Didn't even have to reboot like he stated.

Also since you are starting to surpass what CoToBo was, how about some of the functions that where in there.

I know this is a big wish list, :wow: but you seem like you would be up to the task.
Your work so far proves this.
Coder62 has a itemtype.dat decoder you could use. He even gives permission in his thread to use it in programs.

Next to Voice Notification, would you consider adding MSN Notification? I've just put together this VB6 code for programatically sending a message to a contact.

Preliminary table for for version 4351 of the client is now available(thread in sig), its just the basics but enough to get things up and running again.
Personally I'd stick with the old version of the client for now since theres going to be a pile of updates and f@#k ups coming out of TQ in the near future.

PM support is a interesting idea, my only concern is that if I was a user I wouldn't want a program that had access to my account info to have access to a PM its kind of a gapping security hole, what do the rest of you guys think ?

The way my code works, the contact specified must already be an approved contact, otherwise it cannot open the message window. This should prevent concerns about you getting everyone's account info.

But if I was a malicious programmer, which I'm not of course; but all you users should use the rule DON'T TRUST ANYONE.

LOL but if I was a lowlife wanker I could easily use that MSN API to create a PM session to a client on my end(which I believe can be invisible if done through api) and then send myself the contents of your accounts file, now wouldn't that be charming. Only way to stop that is to have your firewall query every PM session and how many people do that.

Point being if you disassemble my code you will not see any references to any libraries that could be used for nefarious purposes and I'd like to keep it that way because the fastest way for TQ agents to get rid of M8 is to discredit it(its already been tried once).

But then again I'm democratic, if enough people want the feature I'm willing to put it in.

I know (think..maybe) you're not a lowlife ******, but that PM session could not be created to your client unless you were already an approved contact on the person's list. I also tried to find a method without having to use SendKeys in an open window and could not find it available in the API. Of course this would only be an optional setting, so any use of it would be at the user's own risk (which all programs on this site are).

btw, if you were a lowlife ******, you wouldn't use the PM method, you'd just open a connection using some other protocol to send the details to yourself -- not a suggestion to do

Yeah I know theres about a thousand ways to get info out of peoples machines,
but lets not frighten people D
If I was like that I would have done it a long time ago, I'm actually a white hat and have worked in security protecting you guys from the black hats for many many years so your all safe with me.

LOL and on the approved contact subject its, just a button push and you may have noticed M8 is good at pushing buttons could even time it so its done while the screen saver hides the action and of course remove the contact when I'm done.

If I do this PM addon I will have the user set up the PM session and then have a mechanism to bind the M8 active clients to that session via interprocess communications similar to way I talk to CO2 this means it doesn't matter what type of PM you use(eg msn, yahoo, aol, icq, whatever you want)
