I searched the default bytes from the old DC and I couldn't find them.
It looks like not only the DC memory adress is changed, but also the "default" and "disconect" bytes are.
coder62, can you pls help us remake the new DC function.

Bad news guys I got the pre-release version of 4347 that fixes the errors some ppl have at the moment and all the memory addresses have changed again
so I guess theres no point in continuing the search until everything is sorted out.

dunno we'll have to wait and see what happens, however i dunno how you'd have gotten a pre-released version of patch 4347..i can't seem to find anything of the sort on the site or anywhere esle...so unless you have "proof" i'd say lets just continue our search.

Oficial TQ anounce:
Quote:
If you can not log on with the message 'Invalid Version Number. Please update your client' after server maintenance, please try the following methods:
1. Exit your client and run play.exe to start auto-patch if you have not exited your client after server maintenance today.
2. If you still have the problem after auto-patch, you may try to download Patch 4346 manually and save it under your Conquer 2.0 folder. Then run Patch 4346 to update your client to Version 4346.
If you still have other login problems, please report your problems in the Bugs section of our forum.
|
So i dont think there is new version. Its only for the people that have problems downloading the curent version. If there are changes theyr probably serverside.

Well if you manualy looked at patch 4346 there is a couple of new files that where added.[*]immediate.ini[*]interface (folder)[*]Style01 (folder[*]Exercise (folder) with Exercise.dds & ExerciseClick.dds in it.[*]main3 (folder) with PublicBtnMoney.dds & PublicBtnMoneyClick.dds in it.
So there might be a new patch coming anyhow.
Probably offline TG is coming soon.

Well fix2.rar(see link below) is the update their testing on the win98 pcs that have crash on login problems, it works but its not 100% stable yet plus theres also a host of additional problems with the various other operating systems(eg cylone freeze on vista)
When they sort more of these issues out there will be a 4347 and I'm sure it will be in the next couple of days.
If you use the patch thats there u will see the memory locations are different to 4346.

As predicted 4347 is now out and yes all the memory locations have changed again, fingers crossed they got it right this time.

[ASK] about memory address

Can anyone please tell me things about memory address like base address/pointer/offset/base address ?
like in PWI, we have :
Base_Address=10862540 , or in hex = A5BFCC
Base_AddressFZ=10863676, or in hex = A5C43C
does Base_AddressFZ mean a pointer ? because we can directly use that memory address without using offset and Base_Address.
for example, we have the offset for HP in PWI -> HP_OffSet=1140, when using nomad memory in autoit, to get to this HP memory address, we have to...

Memory Address Help

Currently I am trying to make a simple program to tell you if your health goes down. So far I just cannot get the value of HP via memory... well I can in a way; I end up with an address that counts your HP by 256s.... (I could not find the HP using exact value searches, so I did increase/decreased by X) I think this is a one-byte address, but I always thought HP was a 4-byte address, and I do have TSearch searching for 4-byte values. Here is my HP versus what the "256" HP address
reads (I...
