by dura do u mean that i need to repair it when it needs to get repared with 5 mets?

1) Is there a way to increase the durability of gears at all?
2) Would lower level gear work best?

realy?...i upgrade with lucky time 15min:
Coronet lvl 112 1sk sdg +4 elit->sup 1db
Blade lvl 110 2sk rdg +3 elit->sup 1db
Armor lvl 110 1sk sdg +4 elit->sup 1db
in row all of this equips cost me 1db to upgrade from elit to super
so i dont belive it's there a theory. co is just about luck

I have a question....i got an unique 2 sok club when i was hunting the other day....and it's max durability is 25....so if i use a db on it it will upgrade it to elite?...

nono, its like this....first u need to make ur dura 0/40...then dont worn out...repair with money not 5mets...the dura will goes down.....something like 30/30....
repeat the same way till below 25/25 like this, but i recommended its below 10/10 and + patch upgraded, might not work anymore

I used seven dbs on a elite +2 2soc rrg lvl 20 club
and it didnt upgrade to super
Also, i used three dbs on a elite 2 soc lvl 30 bow 2 make it super
The dura of both items were 25/25
THIS DOESNT WORK

Well acctually it's really simple.Every gear has it's lvl(gear's lvl can be upgraded with vio's),when your characters lvl matches you'r gear's lvl then work your ass to hunt bosses for reds.
This solution gives you 75% rate.
Lets say you have a lvl 80 unique helm,and you'r lvl is 80 (should be same lvl but less then 30% at the lvl xp bar) should take you MAX 5 red's to make the helm elite.
From my experience:
At lvl 88 made my elite+12+soc brace to super with 1 red,i was same lvl and 20% at...

ok heres a lil trick i do with -5 items, this isnt a quick money making scheme takes a lil time and effort
1: get a high lvl -5 item or a high lvl soc wep/item (must be high lvl or it doesnt work)
2: make sure the dura is 1-0 if not u gotta wear it down (but dont let it break >.>)
3:if u have a 2nd rb start lucky time and repair it if not just wait till a 2nd rb starts his lucky time in market, tc, ext...
4: repeat this process over n over and the quality will eventually go up

Well i have no idea if it was just pure luck or some kind of glitch but today i upgraded my elite lvl 105 bow to a super lvl 105 bow with only 1 db in twin city
i was standing right by the warehousman facing the artisan and i had to use shiftscreen to see him so i dont know if that had anything to do with it or what anyways just trying to contribute dont flame because im not a noob
