Well i have no idea if it was just pure luck or some kind of glitch but today i upgraded my elite lvl 105 bow to a super lvl 105 bow with only 1 db in twin city
i was standing right by the warehousman facing the artisan and i had to use shiftscreen to see him so i dont know if that had anything to do with it or what anyways just trying to contribute dont flame because im not a noob

That happens sometimes, even with high lvled items. Concider yourself lucky. I also wouldn't post about something that you tried once. If you think something you tried is a glitch of some kind try it several times before posting about it.

ye daz true u should try this a couple of times and if a pattern emerges then u no u got something but other than tht ... i think it was just pure luck heh ... but u never know

no, this is not a glitch, this is done in twin city using the artisian next to the shopkeeper but it's less of a chance with higher lvl items ESPECIALLY bows so consider yourself VERY lucky

Omg! u guyz dont have to believe me but on Dragon Server( the server i play) my friend did the exact same thing he stood next to he warehouseman when he went to upgrade his elite 1soc club lvl 65, and he got it up to Super 2soc.....
btw idk which way he was facing, i never asked him....

I failed 7 DBs on my Soc elite armor to Super!!! So if you can use 1 DB to make it Super, I believe it's just a pure luck.

yeah if you upgraded the quality of a high lvl item with 1 db your extremly lucky. I'v done it on 2 items one after then other. I upgraded my 2 lvl 105 elite weapons to super in tc and each weapon only took 1 db to super. No bs trick or secret, i just decided i wanted to upgrade the quality and i got extremly lucky.

guys. everything is luck. i can tell you that before i made my 2 soc archer armor and bracelet and attack ring, i sat on warehouse man, sucked fchen's ****, walked down 3 steps north, bought a beer, had sexk, then buy a level 10 boot and a lvl 32 arrow, then spam 1 met to upgrade my 1 soc's and all 3 turned into 2 soc's. ITS CALLED LUCK! EVERYTHING IS BASED ON RANDOMNUMBER GENERATORS. DO YOU REALLY THINK TQ WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO DEVELOP A COMPLEX ALGORITHM TO GIVE YOU SOCKETS BASED ON YOUR COORDS OR TIME OR PLACE OR WHATEVER!? didn't think so. so quit with the **** socket tricks. THEY DON"T WORK

Well, I've been using this method for a while and i decided since all you guyz been helping me its time to share my wealth ;)
STEPS:
1. Lower your max Dura to 25 (EXAMPLE: 25/X.. X=25)
**NOTE**~ To do this you must get hit by a monster such as a king until your dura goes to 0/40. Once the dura hits 0, repair the item and the max dura should lower. Do this several times until the max dura is 25. Also the max dura won't always lower the same times down, such as it may go to 32 then 25.

Well acctually it's really simple.Every gear has it's lvl(gear's lvl can be upgraded with vio's),when your characters lvl matches you'r gear's lvl then work your ass to hunt bosses for reds.
This solution gives you 75% rate.
Lets say you have a lvl 80 unique helm,and you'r lvl is 80 (should be same lvl but less then 30% at the lvl xp bar) should take you MAX 5 red's to make the helm elite.
From my experience:
At lvl 88 made my elite+12+soc brace to super with 1 red,i was same lvl and 20% at...

ok heres a lil trick i do with -5 items, this isnt a quick money making scheme takes a lil time and effort
1: get a high lvl -5 item or a high lvl soc wep/item (must be high lvl or it doesnt work)
2: make sure the dura is 1-0 if not u gotta wear it down (but dont let it break >.>)
3:if u have a 2nd rb start lucky time and repair it if not just wait till a 2nd rb starts his lucky time in market, tc, ext...
4: repeat this process over n over and the quality will eventually go up
