it doesnt work, i just tried it with a lvl 30 elite ring dura 25/25 exactly and it failed. that puts this topic (and my db) to rest...

i am gona truy this, but i am gona prove that i tryed this. how ask u?
il screenshoot before puting item in tc lvler. other with info about item i put, other when i click ******* ok to upgrade!, other when i open my items again and see something interesting happening to the stoopid item i tryed to lvl quality up! and all this with foolscreen shots with timecounter of windows at right lower corner!.
so wait until i get 25/25 dura, get DB, get time to play, get time to post!

stop whining about it not always working people. its NOT 100%! Lower dura only increases your chances of it upgrading.

tried 3 dbs on an elite sock ring lvl 30, 1 db on an elite sock tro armor lvl 22, both dura 25 - DOESN'T WORK, i tried before viewing this post, so don't waste ur dbs because of someone very lucky

Well acctually it's really simple.Every gear has it's lvl(gear's lvl can be upgraded with vio's),when your characters lvl matches you'r gear's lvl then work your ass to hunt bosses for reds.
This solution gives you 75% rate.
Lets say you have a lvl 80 unique helm,and you'r lvl is 80 (should be same lvl but less then 30% at the lvl xp bar) should take you MAX 5 red's to make the helm elite.
From my experience:
At lvl 88 made my elite+12+soc brace to super with 1 red,i was same lvl and 20% at...

ok heres a lil trick i do with -5 items, this isnt a quick money making scheme takes a lil time and effort
1: get a high lvl -5 item or a high lvl soc wep/item (must be high lvl or it doesnt work)
2: make sure the dura is 1-0 if not u gotta wear it down (but dont let it break >.>)
3:if u have a 2nd rb start lucky time and repair it if not just wait till a 2nd rb starts his lucky time in market, tc, ext...
4: repeat this process over n over and the quality will eventually go up

Well i have no idea if it was just pure luck or some kind of glitch but today i upgraded my elite lvl 105 bow to a super lvl 105 bow with only 1 db in twin city
i was standing right by the warehousman facing the artisan and i had to use shiftscreen to see him so i dont know if that had anything to do with it or what anyways just trying to contribute dont flame because im not a noob
