2. clicked on the .exe
3. clicked choose sourcefile
4. clicked itemtype.dat
5. clicked choose destinationfile
6. typed itemtype in the filename box then saved (tried this in the CO folder and another folder i created)
7. checked the file created to find the unknown file type file


What do i do from here? I know if i run your modifier at this point it creates an itemtype2.txt but it is 0KB.....confused lol. I dont want to be a pain in Kinshi's ass so if anyone knows whats going on, help would be great. Im pretty sure ive done this right so far and got a wrong outcome or im missing a step.

Just get a .bat decryptor (dont remember what its called) but this decryptor program creates a txt file of the itemtype.dat file.

This txt file should look something like this:

So then you take that file, and Modify it so it looks something like:

Then encrypt it back into a .bat file.

lmao ... Decryptor does same **** as your .bat decryptor , just u should post it b4 telling ppl what to do ... And decryptor which i posted works great so .. blame your own program if u dun know how to use it <3

I don't have a .bat decryptor, thats not what this program does.

You NEED a .bat decryptor to decrypt the bat file to txt, then use the txt file with this program.

And I will blame you for not knowing how to use it, because I know how.

Like i explained before...your decryptor changes the file to an unknown file not a .txt. If we use a modifier on the file created, it makes an itemtype2.txt but its empty...0KB. Its a useless file. It isnt what im doing that is wrong cuz its hard to screw up grabbing a dat file then clicking a place for the changed file to go lol.

When ur saving file with decryptor just write .txt in the end .. -.- ""

I used your decryptor and got the txt file then i used kinshi's modifier cuz i can figure yours out. All it does is open the .rar extracter but doesnt extract to anything. Anyway, with kinshi's modifier i changed the .txt file and changed the name to itemtype.txt by deleting the 2 in the name. Then i ran your decryptor again and saved it in the ini folder as itemtype.dat. When i logged in to CO i was naked. I dont know what it did but it didnt do it right.

i cant see anythin inside my char and when i go to my bank it shows flowers and conquer shuts off. What do i do??

There are other item edit you can use that are straight forward and will give you the same result as this one. They all only show weps and gems. If your not seeing gear and seeing flowers in your wh, it means you did it wrong. With their help i finally got it right but it is a lot easier to use another item edit to get what this one gives you.

I hope someone is still looking at this thread, bc I have a question. I modified the itemtype.dat file and that's all good, but what does eg. "SE: 11560" for the new fans, or whatever the number after each item mean, and why does it appear? And, how do I get rid of it?
