My current configuration path is : C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\gameguard\nProtect\GameGuard\RealSer ver without the space.
Isn't that OK ? (and of course, the files of gameguard are located there)

[Note : As shown in the screenshot above, if I try to reach "http://gameguard.cabalonline.com/" under firefox, I end up on the abyss website, wich seems to be OK. What else could be wrong ?
It looks as if Cabal wasn't trying to get gameguard from this address or that my filenames or something like that are incorrect.
I just don't get it >.<]

@ Deviance1992: Sorry but you have to learn reading on your own. (Status: Working)
@ Kemipso: Are you using Windows Vista? Make sure you run everything as an admin. And deactivate your computer firewall and your Anti-Virus-Program. Maybe it blocks something.

Your Console-URL is wrong. Click on Hosts - Your default host - Stop. Then click on Console - Settings and change it to 80. Then you can start the host. I think there´s no need to configure the path so you can delete all files in GG folder and and you can try to start the game.

It would be nice if you read my last post correctly.
You have to stop your host first before changing the console-URL in Abyss Web Server Program. Then you change your URL to 80 - start host - finish. You could check if your path is right.

Hello !
I am getting the same error as kacusklb, listening error on port 80.
it works on other one.
I search and i found my internet provider use the port 80, that's why i can't use it. Is there a way to make this working with another port than the 80 one ?
Thanks.

Sure you can use an other port. First close Abyss Web Server. Open your hosts file (normal path where it´s located: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\. Open the hosts.dat file and change the last 2 lines. The IP´s are called: 127.0.0.1. Just change them to the port you like to have. Like my example: 127.0.0.1:1027 . Save it. Start Abyss Web Server. Change the console-URL and the Host-IP to the port you have chosen. (f.e.: 1027). Both have to be 1027 then. Now you can start the hosts and Cabal. Make sure you deleted every file in the GG folder.

Thanks for the fast reply but i still have a problem :/
I put 127.0.0.1:1027 in the host file. I reconfigured Abyss web server like that :
I start cabal with the launcher and gameguard update itself, is it normal ?
I let the update and i press run when the window close. Then i have a gameguard error at the mains screen (*erl error).
And i don't know what i did wrong :x
Can you help me please ?
Thanks

Delete all files in GG folder. Start Abyss and let the GameGuard update and don´t do anything. Look if it´s really rev. 1057 (right corner in the task bar). If it´s rev. 1057 then close Cabal and try the thing with the Rootkit.

Are you sure you changed the hosts.dat file? NOT the hostsbackup.txt file.
Are you sure the path of your host is correct? Click in Abyss Web Server Hosts-your default hosts-stop and then click on Configure. Click on configure again in the Window-Mode - General and check your path. It should END with htdocs or RealServer

I changed the hosts.dat file and not the backup, this is my host file :
# Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
#
# symbole '#'.
#
# Par exemple :
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # serveur source
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # hôte client x
127.0.0.1:1027 localhost
127.0.0.1:1027 gameguard.cabalonline.com
And the path i have of the host is C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs\gameguard\nProtect\GameGuard\RealSer ver
Still in rev 1142 :/

How to hide cabal from work?
05/02/2008 - Cabal Online - 2 Replies
Hi,
I'm wondering if you guys know of any program that can hide cabal while it safely runs in the background.
My computer at work is able to run cabal, i'd like to run an afk store with cabal from work, but others may use this computer while I'm gone, I'd like to hide cabal from other people and run it in the background without interrupting anyone that may go on this computer.
Thanks in advanced.
