@tallmantim
Thanks for the feedback and idea.
My idea with the trading feature was to get a good working version first. After that the functionality can be improved.
I received a lot of ideas yet, including transporting resources to the cave and the worldwonders.
Currently each sender can have one outgoing trade. This was needed to reduce the amount of requests the bot makes with the server. I don't think I'll change this soon because it will greatly reduce the speed of the bot.
When a town requests resources the bot will look for a town with the shortest travel time that has resources available. If you notice sometimes that the travel time is very long then that is because there was no other town available with a shorter travel time.

A 1:1 relationship would be great where you could specify what you wanted to trade from that city - so city A could be set to send stone to a min level to city B and city B could be set to send wood and silver to city A.

What do you think of something like this:
A trade mode where a town is both a sender and a receiver, let's call it for example "send & receive".
This mode has one option and that is "minimum resources". As long as the resources of a town are below that value it will requests resources and when the amount of resources is above this minimum value it will send resources to other towns.
For this trade mode the bot will also automatic choose the town with the shortest travel mode.
