The cultural festivals are working fine for me and also the unit queue when I disable the spells.
Still not exactly sure what is going on. Maybe it's related to the version of IE. I noticed before some differences between IE8 and IE9.
If you have problems could you copy the user-agent in the browser tab and post it here? It will look like this:
Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; MSIE 9.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0)

I am using WinXP with IE8. However you released an update, I will report here if anything does not work as expected.

Im using windows7x64 with i.e.9
The only problem is with the unit queue. It doesnt work with or without spells

Just for information: Cultural event do work now for me, unit queue seems to be buggy. Can you confirm that there are issues with the queue, not quite sure right now.

I have a problem with the bot. With 140+ cities I often recognize memory problems. I starts mostly during the autotrade-phase. Normally the bot uses at about 125M memory. With many cities the bot starts to allocate more and more memory (mostly during autotrade), often more than 600M. The peak was more than 1G. If this happens, the bot simply freezes and stops doing useful things. If I recognize this in time, sometimes it helps to display the browser tab and use F5 to reload the web application. Do you have any idea what causes this problem? On a smaller account the bot works stable as ever.

There is a memory leak in the browser. I created a fix for that, it is applied each time the browser tab is updated. This happens when you interact with the browser (F5 for example) or when a reconnect occurs.
I'll check if it's possible to apply this fix more often.
