Ich habe nun die Möglichkeit ausprobiert, die Animationen von meinem Emulationsserver zu extrahieren. Ernüchternd muss ich sagen, dass ich den Clienten nicht einmal starten kann, da er durch GameGuard blockiert wird. Hat jemand von euch eine Idee oder eine Lösung, um GameGuard zu umgehen oder zu entschärfen? Die Suchergebnisse aus diesem Forum haben leider keinen Erfolg gebracht.

I have now tried the possibility of extracting animations from my emulation server. Unfortunately, I must say that I can't even start the client due to being blocked by GameGuard. Does anyone have an idea or a solution to bypass or disable GameGuard? The search results from this forum have unfortunately not been successful.

You can find the script in blender file. Just change import_terrain parameters.

Editor can be found in my github release, File -> Export Map As JSON.

Object meshes more or less use the same system so they can easily be exported as well. I might give it a try this weekend when I have some free time.

I feel like it would be more efficient to go this way with upscaling current renders and models. Nowadays with AI blender can do that work quite well and make it even more realistic.

Of course probably not as much as Unreal engine 5 but still faster to implement.

Still if that game wants a future, then unreal engine might be the way to go.

Es wird mal wieder Zeit für ein kleines Update! Jetzt ist es schon ein Jahr her, dass ich mit dem Projekt wieder begonnen habe. In der Zwischenzeit musste ich viel Neues dazulernen und mich intensiv mit der Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) auseinandersetzen. Momentan arbeite ich immer noch täglich an den Terraindaten in der UE5, da die Materialien und Texturen leider nicht vollständig aus Blender/FBX übernommen werden. Das ist echt eine ziemlich stupide und fleißige Handarbeit, aber es nimmt langsam Form an. Zumindest kann ich schon über das Terrain laufen und mir die anderen Objekte genauer ansehen. ��

Wenn ich mal keine Lust habe, jeden Tag das Gleiche nach Feierabend zu machen, dann versuche ich mich an den Animationsdateien. Alles in allem ist es noch eine Menge Arbeit, aber auch ein Nachbau braucht seine Zeit! Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden!

I've recently spent some time to export characters and objects in GLTF format, which might be useful to anyone working on stuff like this.






Notes:
- When importing into Blender, enable "Merge vertices" option and choose smooth shading.
- Characters have animations, objects don't. That said, animated objects make up a very small portion.
- Some materials require alpha blending. Go into "Shading" tab and plug image alpha to material alpha. In material settings, disable backface culling.
- Some characters have weapons, which you need to place manually. Use "Child Of" constraint with armature and desired bone. Right hand bone name: Bone_101, left hand bone name: Bone_102.


For this project specifically, I highly suggest making a tiny area of the game fully functional as opposed to trying to complete everything all at once.

Once Havocker stops working, the project is essentially dead with no one to take over. On the other hand, once you create and share a workflow that can re-create a tiny area, others can contribute and speed up the completion of the entire map.

Du bist der Held der Nation! Hast du diese Exportfunktion in deinem Editor ergänzt oder etwas Neues geschrieben?

Ich habe inzwischen alle meine Skripte und Techniken dokumentiert und arbeite daran, dies gut strukturiert in einem Repository zusammenzustellen, damit es für andere nachvollziehbar ist. Nur die Techniken in der UE5 sind nicht enthalten, da jeder anders denkt und programmiert. Sollte es den Stand einer sehr frühen Alpha-Version geben, werde ich weitere Infos zu den UE5-Techniken dem Repository hinzufügen.

Für mich selbst habe ich ein kleines Konsolenprogramm erstellt, das mir jede Version des Spieleclients komplett extrahiert und das meiste für einen Nachbau aufbereitet. Es heißt "Archlord-Universal-Extractor/Converter" () . Alle Texturen sind nach dem Export einwandfrei und benötigen keine weiteren Tools wie MagicTXD oder ähnliches. Ein Release dazu folgt auch bald im Repository.

However, the techniques in UE5 are not included, as everyone thinks and programs differently. If there’s ever a version from an early alpha stage, I will add more information about the UE5 techniques to the repository.

I’ve created a small console program for myself that completely extracts each version of the game client and prepares most of it for a recreation. It’s called "Archlord-Universal-Extractor/Converter" (). All textures are perfect after export and don’t require additional tools like MagicTXD, etc. A release for it will also follow soon in the repository.

I've implemented it in client, it's available on my github release.
How-to:
/export_character TID FaceId HairId
/export_object TID

I left some code in MainWindow.cpp that exports everything, you can comment out exportCharacter to export all.

You also need to create following directories in your client:
export
export/character
export/object
