Update is uploaded
Changelog:
- Removed water .mtl files
- Added new method for water, read the readme under "Testing" for more details.
- Updated the readme with file info for new water files.
- Added vegetation rendering back in cvars.
- Moved script files into optional folder for time being to test/work on them.

for ppl who might be like me removing the Water.cfx file makes it so you get the old ocean topside back
and no packet error or random DC

Not at this time, no. The clock map timers will work if I take out the arena and re-work how the script works. Chat will aswell.
Just need to re-do alot of the code in the current scripts to avoid the system and I've lack of time during the day today & tomorrow but will putup something for testing asap.
Also going to re-work how the folders/launcher is for things.

plox a question, does last program, unistall only the contenant of last one , or it unistall the old version too ? everytime i install the mod i get dc, (i m installing it before launching the game)but when i unistall it work again , the game

Yes, you need to read the readme on it and you'll understand why you are getting a dc, you've got to take the cvars out before hand, it does not check during the video sequence an it is after that it handles that.

No it does not uninstall the old content anymore, I only left that up briefly and if you still have previous edits I'd suggest reinstalling your client to clean it up. If it's still doing so, read the readme carefully.
Changelog:
- Updated the launcher, you'll notice new options now.
- Cleaned up folders and organized a bit better.
- Updated the readme for scripts and how they work now, read it.
- Arena anywhere functional again, should not dc.
- Chat functional again & updated missing parts needed from 1.7 update, should not dc.
- Instant quit functional again, should not dc.
- Map timers functional & updated for 1.7 content, should not dc.
The scripts work a bit differently, you don't have a large grace period anymore and the checking is a bit odd. If you get caught by a dc while ingame awhile don't worry but just make sure you read the bold part under bypassing the scripts in the readme and it will work fine. I've been online for a total of 32 hours now without a problem.
The auction house will take a bit more time and some of the others, but rest assured it's being worked on. It's just updating the scripts better to work in conjunction with the 1.7 update.
Everything in the Optional folder is testing-only and is not fully functional so use at your own liberty, it will disconnect.

I don't quite understand how this should be working. I'm looking at the readme, but it has no information on options 5 and 6. Do I install, then run 5, launch the game, run 6 during the opening cutscenes, then select character, do 3 when the screen goes black then 4 once I can move around? Is there no longer a requirement of running the uninstall at any point?

Only if you want to remove the water/day+night mod will you run the uninstall, now.

Hmm got same confusion, tried many possibilities and it dosnt work for me.
In some combinations pak is destryoed and even option 4 doesnt help.
Only unmodified pak overwrite helps.
Im only interested in changing zoom and fov now.
As i understand:
option 1
option 5
start game
option 4 at trion logo animation
select char
option 3
when i can run option 4
Is that correct?
