My hand hurts when I type "soon", but every time we think we are almost done, we figure out an additional abuse, we figure out a missing part of content which we want to implement for phase 1/testing phase, we find out that something is not fitting and it needs revamp.
I dare say that it is not a mistake NOT rushing to provide a mess of a server just for the sake of it. It's because of that actually that we have such a high demand and that we're currently outdoing servers with newest server files.
i'm so eager to play it, sounds too good to be true but honestly i have faith in you, the staff. it's just killing me everyday when i check this forum with so many posts yet no date is set.
i agree with you delaying the launch, take your time and try to reach perfection. i wont read the forum atleast a week i can't take this, lol.

I would recommend those wanting a live USB to have a minimum of 4GB RAM, a dual core with 1.5GHZ clock speed, a minimum of a 16GB USB with decent random read/write speeds otherwise you will run out of space, memory and you might notice some performance issues.
A live version of a slipstreamed OS isn't designed to game with, it is used for troubleshooting and repair on the fly. If you want full power, add Windows 7 to a partition within your current hard drive using Disk Management.

I kind of understand why they do not give an ETA. Theoretically, ETA is an "estimated" time which obviously means the given value is not sure/certain. However, when someone gives an ETA, players believe that it's an exact time but when it doesn't get released on time they lose trust, they blame the devs.
By not giving ETA, Jamie makes sure future players will not lose trust and/or label him a liar for giving a false release time.

@win8.1/win10 users, after running some tests, PA client can't be run from USB win7 OR win xp.
Dual booting with win7 or creating a virtual machine with win7 are the only alternatives. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
I have been behind the USB process and it has been a nightmare. A USB os boot isn't designed for gaming so it almost messed up instantly. The os doesn't work with direct x and missing many nessecary dlls vital to windows.
Dual boot or virtual machine or windows 7 is the only option.
