Also, ich bin heute mit meinem 60er hunter auf ne nette 2h stangenwaffe gestoßen mit 3.4attack speed.. leider hatte ich den waffenskill erst auf 40... der tipp funzt am besten inner gruppe wos nich so wichtig is mal dmg zu machen^^
Einfach 2h Waffe nehmen, nen gegner raussuchen und die ganze zeit Zurechtstutzen spamen  so hab ich den skill innerhalb von 5 min auf 250 bekommen, obwohl die waffe so langsam is (:
How it works:

Also ist das quasi nicht eigentlich ähhm ganz normal, das man seinen Waffenskill so steigert? ~,~ Also ich meine was willst du anderes machen ^^

öhm... mein hunter levelt waffenskill eigentlich nur so... mit pet aggro ziehen und dann wing clip bis der gegner tot ist^^ (pet auf passiv... das macht zu viel schaden, da muss man so oft n neues opfer suchen )

Betrachten wir's als hilfreichen Hinweis für noobs... ^^
( einem shami muss man ja auch ned klar machen das er mit windfurry seinen waffensklill schneller levelt )

Checked other similar threads, couldn't find. This has likely been posted before, but I found it by chance.
Get/Make a macro program with AutoIt, AutoMouse, whatever you like, as long as it can spam a button in regular intervals.
Find a humanoid, equip the type of weapon you wish to train, then assign the button you spam to Sap.
Your weapon skill will now increase at the same rate as if you'd hit the mob normally.

Just as you enter the outlands through the dark portal there are allied mobs fighting level 60 + elites that respawn instantly.
Just stand on the stairs shooting the targets to increase bow/gun skill, and not take any damage :)
Can also go down and melee the mobs, you are usually safe but be a little cautious.

I don't know if this has been posted before, but im sure everyone has seen a bugged mob that you can hit forever and just lvl your weapons skill up by sitting there. Well another way I found is if you have a warlock with you he can banish a elemental mob and it works just the same as a bugged mob, you can just rebanish every 30sec or so and everyone in group can hack and slash it as much as they want and your weapons skill will increase. I did this in RFC with some lowbies i was runnen through...

Goto RavenHill cemetary in duskwood - look for the hole in the ground guarded by all the ghouls named Dawning Wood Catacombs -
go inside and all the way in the back is a tunnel that leads to another mausoleum filled with skellies - anyway - go thru tunnel kill 2 pathers and when you get to the side with all the Skeletons just STAY in the tunnel and shoot them at will ... they will agro but will not come at you and you will be able to raise you ranged weapon skills easily ..

Fast weapon skill leveling

When you are lvling up a weapon, be sure to use rend (10 rage, instant cast, doesnt take the place of your normal swing) It counts as a normal swing in terms of weapon lvling. Today i learned polearms and got it from 0 - 205 in less than an hour (45 mins) and that was with a 2.6 speed weapon.
Best way to do it is find some low lvl elites, that way you dont have to worry about dieing. I was in silver pine forest killing lvl 14 elites and maxed out the weapon skill.
So, just keep spamming...
