caught wind of this in the wow forums but im at work at the moment and not playing to test it out, be sure i will when i get home. and supposedly it only works in pvp/duels.
Macro:
/script PetPassiveMode();
/cast Freezing Trap
many agree that apparently this works if you spam it a few times to drop a trap without having to FD or wait to fall out of combat. is this old news and can someone confirm?

Funktioniert einwandfrei  Danke
Man muss aber folgendes Makro nehmen : /script PetPassiveMode();
/wirken Eiskältefalle (Rang 3) [bei anderen Rängen natürlich anders )
Works fine  thanks
But the Macro is : /script PetPassiveMode();
/cast Freezing Trap (Rank x)

Hab es mal auf dem 1.12 PTR getestet  und es klappt nicht mehr
Hab mal ein Video erstellt 
I´ve tested it on the 1.12 PTR´s but it´s fixed I´ve maked a video

Fixed oder ich bin zu dumm zu ^^
Wenn ich ooc bin legt er die Falle, aber net im Fight. Pet hört auch auf zu attackieren, die Befehle passten also...

Lies doch meinen Post mit 1.12 isses gefixed...steht aber nciht in den Patchnotes...
Naja..mit 1.11 geht es aber noch.^^

Also bei mir hat das nie funktoiniert.
Ich hab noch 'totstellen' dazwischen und kilck einfach mehrfach auf das Makro.

What do you do then? Spam the macro via a shortcut? or on Hotbar? Do you have to have a stealthing pet etc.. Details plx.

Okay...i spam the Macro with a hotkey..
Your Pet _must_ be devensiv NOT passive before you spam the macro
Your pet must not be in stealth...^^

very old. you can place traps if your pet is in passiv mode. you also don`t need any kind of macro or script. just set your pet to passiv.
