HyperElk vs GGLoader vs Morpheus
I am trying to determine which of these 3 to go with in Dragonflight.
I currently use HyperElk and the Melee/Tank routines+ the developer support is fantastic. The healer routines are solid as well, but the ranged routines are only ok.
I have seen GGLoader charges an arm and a leg but apparently has more seasoned developers which leads to more even better results? What about ranged classes on GGLoader? I have heard they have community developers but on their site I see only their official offerings.
Morpheus ranges from $100 to $150 per spec, but its lifetime? I don't really like the idea of having to hold a button pressed down always. They say the routines are "personalized" for you but what does that mean exactly? Do they re-code for you everytime you get new gear?
I am basically looking to continue getting CE in Dragonflight with 1-2 characters, doing M+ as every role to a high IO (Tank/Heals/Melee/Ranged) and PvP up to 2100 or so unless a routine is excellent, then I will push for Glad but that is low priority.

Stick with Elk.

I spoke to the GGL guys a while ago. Those prices for the specs listed on the shop page, are to allow you to use the spec within the bot, not actual combat routines. They don't have official profiles. You pay extra for them from community devs.

Never tried Morpheus, so can't comment. I'm a multiclasser, so Morpheus just didn't make sense.

Some of the Elk PvP profiles aren't half bad. I'd just stick with Elk. I've also done the whole shopping around 'is there anything better' quest.
Your other alternative is an LUA unlocker (~$30/m) and a rotation framework (best one I've tired was $80/m for all classes and specs, PvE and PvP, but there are cheaper ones that have a few classes and specs for like ~$30/m), but a ban will come down at some point. If that isn't really a worry then yea, you can probably play a good season or two before catching a ban, then just spin up a new account and carry on. That said, i've yet to catch an unlocker ban since 9.0.5... Fingers crossed...
Also I think this post means I'm not a lurker anymore... lol?

With Morpheus what they mean by lifetime support is the duration of the expansion,I bought 7 profiles for shadowlands and they always address any questions and concerns that I have.So my 7 profiles will be garbage after season 4 and will have to buy dragon flight profiles.I bought 1 healer profile for 250 and it’s very underwhelming since I feel like I have to do a lot of the work myself, healer profile not worth it in my opinion. But the dps one got me to 2100-2400 almost every season with multiple dps toons.

Where do you find the community devs though? Do you get access to a forum/discord where you meet them after you buy?

There is a discord you get access to when you buy it I believe.

I would eliminate Morpheus completely. Terrible rotations.
GGL for - - Rank 1 push
- Race to realm first raiding
- Top 50-100 mythic plus push
- Maining 1-2 classes
HyperElk for - - Heroic or casual mythic raiding
- Casual mythic plus
- Casual pvp (although, you can achieve gladiator if the class is easy to play, such as demon hunters, warriors, and hunters, but you'll still need to know quite a bit about your class for manual input purposes as Elk won't handle them as effectively as GGL does).
- Multi-class players
GGL is a lot more of a financial drain in the start than HyperElk is.

What does GGL do differently than Elk that would set them apart? Based solely on dps, Elk uses Simcraft logic (thats my understanding) and if thats correct, how could any other rotation be objectively better? I'm also assuming that all legitimate rotations use simcraft logic at this point.
If the above is true, the only thing that could separate or differentiate the rotations would be functionality and/or non-rotation based logic IE stuns, interrupts, ect.
I have no problem paying for the best, and/or paying for something thats functionally 'better' so any additional feedback/experience you would have here would be greatly appreciated.

One thing that does make me nervous is Hyper Elk being a victim of it's own success, as in if too many people start using it Blizzard may take notice.

Blizzard doesn't care, and if they do care, they will care about everyone that is publically available.
The problem with GGL is 1. Its setup is terrible 2. Voluntary rotations developers just come and go at little notice 3. There are really no good unpaid profiles; you're basically just paying for a core program; if you want good rotations, you have to pay for them separately unless you make them yourself. At one point, GGL used to make their own rotations, but now they don't, which is a big downfall. I don't know why they don't just hire an in-house developer for rotations and improve their software core to be more user-friendly.
I don't think you need to be suggested what you use since you have already looked into them; there are clear differences in value between some options over others.
As for PVP, it's really dependent on the user as well, don't matter how good the rotations are, if the user movement and placement is trash you wont get anywhere.

Pros ElkBot:
- Very easy to use, just plug and play
- Nice GUI which you can hide in game, and outside of the game you have many options (aoe count, defensives etc.)
- Auto updates all profiles as well the software itself (no website to go to or whatever to manually update)
- Good dev team which actually plays the game, but some better than others in terms of communication and profiles
- Break Macros and general macro's to toggle stuff on top like CD's for instance or kicks or whatever you want to do manually
- Can use the software with EVERY UI
- Cheap (one price for all the rotations)
- Can still use all the main Keybinds (auto keybind function)
- PvP rotations can be added for a monthly price
GGL had no autobind function last time I checked and you need WoW addons to make it work like TMW, WA's etc. Also these need to be on your screen all the time (because of the pixel reading).
Pricing is really expensive and many dev's left as well.
Ranged Classes are always a little bit of a problem with Pixel bots but HE does it much better imho.
Just get into both and ask for a trial. I promise you will love HE.
And yes I used both for a long time and once I found out about HE I never went back despite having huge respect for what GGL did in the past.

Oh yeah easily. There is a channel full of parses almost every day. It's better suited for Melee's and Healer's though.

You'll do alright as ranged, but really can push 90s for any melee

You can take a look at EasyRotationZ as well
The dev is really nice, very quick at fixing things and what I REALLY like about it, is that all setup is done in-game, instead of in some external program. (The external program is simply only handling pressing the keys). Its also a pixel bot
