that they are going to expand the Steam offerings by starting to offer new non-gaming content to be obtainable from the
, this starting next
September 5th.
Valve didn't provide any specific software titles yet it was said that many of the offerings available at this launch will leverage
Steamworks features, including automatic updating and
Steam Cloud support.
Developers will be able to submit their applications through the newly launched
crowd-voting process, which launches on August the 30th.
