Similar to how Twitter uses affiliation badges to confirm the identity of individuals affiliated with an organization, affiliate badges could help customers easily identify if they are receiving help, information, or a product, from an authorized member of the organization they're inquiring about.
If you're a business owner, you can give an affiliation badge to your staff which can then sell your product via the TBM, help customers with product related issues, etc -
Basically, it is a way to allow your staff to assist customers on-site, as well as ensures that nobody can make a fake forum account such as "PO_Support" or "Fika_PO" etc, to ultimately scam users.
It can be tied into a benefit of buying Elite or a separate purchasable option.
