Supposedly he's been having these features included in his filter since 2017 so no hope to ever get any help from such skilled individuals.

it's amazing everything that can be achieved makes me feel more helpless from lack of knowledge xD but my friend we both share a love for the old days.

and there are still many capable people and I understand their reasons, no one forces them to share and monetize every last feature that has hard work behind it but in my particular case I do it for fun and nostalgia, I have no intention of monetizing anything.

I leave some old school features here right from f8lib, unfortunately I wont be giving any support porting them to your projects most of the patches are quick and dirty just call Patch functions

Thank you so much, you made my day!
I was not able to make the old character selection work before with other methods and always led to errors i could not solve

but with this file it WORKED on a private server i log into (not mine)
i just searched how to "inject dll with Stud_PE"
and found a tutorial how to import a dll with Stud_PE into the sro_client

helpful note: it did not work from the first time, the launcher did not open the client
so when i executed sro_client.exe without the launcher it asked for dll files that should be present in the game folder like this dll and another vcruntime140.dll
then i got another error not related to dlls, for this had to download and install the "vc runtime all in one" to sort all the dlls on my operating system then the launcher was able to run the sro_client without errors
