Nope, that's not even remotely true. What happened was infact Atomix was opened by my friend along with some one in the scene of Aion private servers, using some of his servers to first create and test the server and then host it and i helped my friend and actual owner of Atomix open the server.
I still to this day remember the phone call i got about getting hold of the server files just after i finished work and spent the whole weekend getting them working.
Anyway we noticed some corruption and the guy was trying to fuck my friend over. So we spoke and my mate/friend and I decided it best to leave that partnership so seeked our own hosting. After a few months the team grew and had a few GMs and forum and mods. We got a paywall and my mate created a HELL OF A LOT of content Mainly cosmetic stuff to which to this day is used in other servers in the silk mall such as the dresses etc. This was to help to pay for the server running costs etc. Anyway long story short Atomix became one of the top servers along with others for a while.
However I became less active and started working full time and couldn't help my mate as much. There was some corruption where certain individuals tried stealing his work and was corrupt in the game. Not to mention there was alot of hacking going on at this time SQL injection and such and it was a constant fight keeping the server secure. This lead my friend to sell up because he had alot going on in life and the server almost required 24/7 attention. So with all the stress of the server and wanting to get on with his life he sold up. Not that i blame him because the PSRO scene became toxic.
The server never became bankrupt under my friends ownership, I don't know what happened under new ownership but my guess it was alot of corrupt shit. But to say the owner just opened and disapeared is bullshit. He did alot of work and helped alot in the early days of the leaked SRO files just after EliteSRO files got leaked. So please don't talk about shit you don't know.
If you knew anything you would have also known about when i got hold of SRO2 and their server files. That was made by joymax but then sold on to another studio because they went into mobile gaming. But the game sucked hard so wasn't even worth putting time into it. It would have never been like the early days of SRO like when the Euro expansion happened and the game grew loads.
