To have a popular, profitable private server, you don't always have to have the most updated, but the most fun, and most functional server. Gas stations don't make more money competing with another gas stations by RAISING the price on each gallon for the same gas.

1 - There's a certain kind of monopoly on the Silkroad P-Server scene! The servers are full 24/7 anyway!

2 - I'm sure enough people have thought about it.
But who do you want to tell that? There's nobody who actually cares about that.
there's no "Hoster" you can contact and tell him your opinion. There are only some staff members who don't redirect it anyway.

Lol you can forget the word "functional" in pserver that run on original server files.
They don't have the source code and they don't have coding experience.

from my point of view you should be realy happy you even got a single pserver, but yeah it would be better with a bit more balanced servers :P

Still better then playing officials, you gotta bot for a half year or more before its fun playing on the char
grinding it up is impossible..... and its not worth waiting that long to play a game :P

All funny pservers "updates" are like scream of dying man. they are out of date, without source, not updatable (only pk2 edit), they will have stability problems because of those media pk2 updates. I can give max 2 years in my opinion for all pservers before they will fail because of no money. I am pretty sure they have to pay to some peoples for not relase bugs existing in files. Its near 6 pservers its far too much. Anyway i am sure in next 2 years those funny files will be relased(because will be worth almost nothing ).But when those files will be relased i am sure emulators will be alot better than this old files.
Moreover for those who waiting for files, this files will need more than one computer, moreover you will not able to host it on normal home pc.You will need propably 2 computers(minimum).Cost of hosting that files per month its near 500-1000 dollars for sure.

Btw Sro is ruin because of peoples and item mall. Item mall is reason of fail with gameplay and everything. And peoples are guilty because of paying. Sro community are dumb and deserve for it. Joymax already fail with silkroad and they don't care about this game anymore thats why all of this item mall *****. I am sure in next 3 maybe more years we will able to see silkroad 2 because already existing silkroad its finished, was finished long time ago.

Of course there is no status like Dull, fear or things like that because those came with the euro expansion and as so far no server have been able to put euros working we 'll never have dull and those status till someone make a pserver whit euros.

Btw i was waiting for eSRO too but when i read that there will be nor bots either pwlvl that ****** me off =( so i ll stay in ZSZC

first, we will have to wait for eSRO to open
then even if they bann bots, everyone will do like ZSZC

btw, dull/fear/etc status are form europe, if you notices, some Roc Mt will have those effects on the attacks

They've changed their website at least 3 times, and their forums at least 6-8 times. They've lost and gained back developers. Give me a break, eSRO is a lost cause and even if they finally do get their **** together (Which it has already been 2 years.) Silkroad 2 will be out. 70 CAP was a poor fail. Unbalance. Everyone played full STR coz INTS were 1 hit's.. only with full sos against none sos won. Jobwar sucks. Always Safezone sitting.... and and and and.
