Good to see you're doing well! You probably do not know me but I wanted to share a funny story that includes you. I'm turning 26 this year, I work as a game dev. Anyway, many years ago me and my cousin we were about 13 years old, and we both had setup a very small private server and it was out first time actually making money, especially online, it wasn't much, only a few bucks, but we were not used to that at all as kids. Anyway you exploited our server to death, we couldn't understand a thing to protect it, the funny part is you were commenting on our server's thread, and my cousin said that once he gets home he will fix it, then you replied "Challenge accepted". he got home and couldn't do ****. we still laugh at the story to this day.
A lot of dumb **** has been done and said in the past, unfortunately.
Don't worry, I remember . You used to mod alongside Eckoro, right? Back in those days, I was shocked to find out he was a fellow UK native. Even more shocked to find out that his name was also Callum. It blew my mind in those days, as U.K players on SRO were very rare. I wonder what happened to him.
It's been a long time since I last posted here, or even remembered the 2FA information for my account, as every year I have to post another complaint to get it removed
I remember I started this game officially back in 2006, back then I was a 9 year old clueless kid with no idea of what would eventually transpire. I found my love for RPG's through Silkroad, I acquired a particular music taste (Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park) through OG Silkroad PvP and unique hunting videos, something I still listen to to this day.
Fast forward, I'm now 27 years old, still living in the UK, full-time job and two young daughters. How is everyone else doing? It'd be great to see some old names pop up for a catch-up. I have met countless characters over the years, mainly through ElitePvPers, ECSRO (VIP and Fembria) and MHTC. I do not currently play SRO due to commitments, however I would be welcome to try it again if the opportunity arises.
Regards,
Callum (Creationist)
Welcome back here then, Thank to this i feel really old haha.
Started playing ISRO when 80 gap started on Oasis server. quit on ISRO on 120 gap somewhere. been on alot of private servers true the years and also some downtime haha. and now finialy having my own server running with the old feelings from the old days where i can game with friends and even my own kids.. (( yes this makes me feel real old )).
at the end we all get back to a old game we liked and did bring friends and fo in some times. we charrish the old day's that will never come back however we do not forget the memories we made.
and the same like you still looking for some old names from time to time hard to find them lucky i still meet up with 2 people from the time i started the game with. Home you find atleast some buddy's from the old days like i hope i will find them also one day on my own server to just chill in Discord these days not teamspeak like back in the day.
It has been around 8 years since I touched anything SRO related, and yet I find myself coming back to epvp's SRO sections every now and then. I am 33 now, got married and relocated to a different country to work and settle.
I started playing SRO in 2008 in CH/EU 80cap and shifted to private servers in 2011 and between 2012 and 2016 it was all about SRO dev. and security.
Everything I've experienced, the drama, the rivalry, the exploit and DDoS wars, the knowledge that was shared, were instrumental in shaping the person I am today.
I'm running a cybersecurity startup now and I owe this community's members, the good and the bad ones, a lot.

Long time no see. Good to hear you're doing fine my!
Been a while since I've been here, kind of surprises me it's still alive to some extend.
Lol, kinda nostalgic see this msg...
my son born 7 days ago and im 26 years old.. missing ecsro, fembria, sjsro those days... private server nows just during 3 month and they dead....
more like 3-4weeks for active server than dead for quick money grab pay2play projects
This thread gives me the same nostalgic feeling I get every now and then when I log into ISRO, check what's going on, and then leave. This game is truly a part of our physical brain that we will never get over, and it gives me a very unique feeling I can't explain, yet can't satisfy.

This is exactly how I feel, reading the posts here, feels so nostalgic..

Because you want something that you can't have anymore, the itch will always be there but unfortunately theres nothing you can do about it anymore. I get that feeling from time to time and even when I look back at everything that happened, if I were to do it all over again, unironically I'd do and say the same dumb/retarded stuff I did in the past lmao.
