Question How can I use the skills of Europeans in the Chinese race

How can I use the skills of Europeans in the Chinese race.

I exactly want to put lifetunover to pacheon mastery and other skills. Can the change be made only in DB? or I also need to make the change in the client.


And how can I change the model of each character. I just want to change the hair of some female or male character. That there are options to change the hair. Idk. I want to do something like the Arabian race

You simply can carbon copy the skill and use some regular known Chinese buffing animations to that skill (sometimes it just looks weird when a chinese char uses unedited european skill animations).
For the model stuff, dig deeper inside the "how to create a weapon with blender for silkroad" thing and you will figure out, that it only works in both directions, if you have the source files of that model.
Pre-made stuff by Joymax will stay like they used to be. Remodeling won't work in terms of polygon manipulation. Except for texture editing (simple ddj files to screw around with) and bsr attachments (like shinmoo or however that mob is called).

If it would be that easy creating a new race, most of us would have done it already, but new models without the possibility of adding entirely new animations, weapon behaviors and Co. ain't worth it.

Hello, Short answer, You cannot use Euro skills on CH characters or the vise versa AT ONCE, Due to the skeleton being different, However there is a way around it if you are going to be using CH characters with EU skills only. Cannot be both.
The Skeleton which is the .BSK is different. .BSK is responsible of causing the MESH to move.
The way around it is, You will have to replace the CH skeleton with the EU skeleton in the .bsr of the character you are trying to use. and same goes for animations.

The animations will look weird, but not that bad..

(BTW I tried that long time ago, when I started exploring VSRO. So don't wonder about the character name, I was an idiot.)

Can You Give me a short tuto how to do it??

I can see that your CHN Character used a Staff, so how could it be used, Life TurnOver with the pacheon mastery? Using a Bow as a weapon.

would be something like, first change the weapon restriction ReqCast_Weapon take the skill out of the Wizard group, move it to Pacheon UI_SKillPage, assign it to a column UI_SkillColumn, and give it a row UI_SKILLRow.
and then make the same changes in the client "Skilldata_XXX?" I am right?

You just can edit the race of the staff from EU to CH to make a CH staff. (_RefObjCommon >> Country)
Then, you will add EU skills to your CH character and you're done!

But, if you want to use an EU skills with a CH weapon, then what you've said above is right.

Does any1 kno of a good Euro building guide for 2hsword warrior and Xbow/dagger rogue, Also I like to set my bot up and leave it by itself, can any1 advise of good spots to lvl a character....seems like chinese side is a lil better at beggining cuz euro side has all those dam trees, any helps appreciated. Cain P.S. My chars. are in hera so it's a B*tch to log on and theres alota gold farmers and whatnot and just about every spots taken dury busy time which is almost all the time...If any1...

lol.. i found a guy who gives free accounts..(free atm) i think he won't do it for long. maby just cuz he gets those acclaim points ^^ just send and e-mail to [email protected] with subject "acclaim" and he will send u the account infos in couple of dayz :D infos are made to ur e-mail address.. include the username and password u want in the e-mail. if the username is allready in use he will pick 1 for u.
