[Suggestion] Improving the 'Ask the Experts' experience
First off, I'd like to clarify a few points about the mentioned section.
The major audience of it are developers.
Most of the questions are duplicates.
Solved threads sometimes are revived by someone asking the same question and not bothering to check the replies.
Most closed cases aren't actually closed unless reported by someone who usually isn't the thread creator.
So why not automatically close the threads when an answer has been provided?
"Oh and how do we know it's a closed case, smartass?"
I thought of something simple but might be cool and really helpful to both section managers and people looking for answers.

A new button at the post footer only visible to the thread creator to mark a reply as a solution and changes the head of the post to green or something to make it more catchy. Also to make it more practical, at the initial post attach a "Go to Solution" anchor.
Why not suggest this at the general section yet?
This section's activity isn't the highest of the others and yet admins have been restraining from commenting on most of the suggestions made for the advertising section (highest activity) which is questionable. Did they give up on this entire section or maybe it's not worth the effort or they might just be busy. However, I think it'd be a better asking experience when both the questions and the answers are more obvious to 3rd parties who might be looking for the same knowledge afterwards.
Feel free to criticize or suggest improvements and most importantly tell me what you think about the activity concern.
This won't end the duplicated questions all over, it'll only provide an easier way to check for the answer of the question and that only if they looked for it which they don't.. Since the idea itself is from stackoverflow, I believe someone suggested it before and most likely was refused.
Additional improvements: HTC Vive compatible forum. VR-asking Spidy for support. Each wrong answered question ... you prolly know where this is going to head.
Nah, seriously, we need a better structured helping section(s). More sub-categories for people. Solved questions should be moved to another section, where people might finally stop re-asking stupid questions, while being so freaking lazy using the search function. I might even mistake on this point. Ya know ... humankind and such. Lazy bastards and such.
But overall, there is really an upgrade/improvement necessary.
I bet, someone is again going to ask, again, "How do I change console functions, like those weird &/%$(! figures while entering new regions", I've answered this, and guess no one is firstly and willing to do a search, but going to create another unnecessary topic for it.
The only suggestion I would make for the section...
Is when an issue is solved, all relevant answers should be quoted in the first post, so people who have the same or similar issues do not have to read 32 pages on 16 different topics....
Actually I was thinking about something else for the said section,
more easier to handle and to keep it updated ..
How about a Collection thread with a category ? would be easier for any user to search there.
Example ---> How to fix ''***'' -->Solved -->with a clarified answer + explanation --> pinned to the collection thread
Category --> M-bot errors, client errors, bugs ..etc
Not every single thread of course, just the complicated ones which a Moderator can decide with few experienced users.

Ye, that's also kinda stackoverflow-ish, before you get to ask a new question you're mostly viewed a few threads with close titles/tags and such. Look for example the number of threads asking for how to fix mbot with windows 10. We can't ask for much tbh, stackoverflow probably has an awesome matching algorithm but even using the current vBulletin version some plugins could be made to optimize the asking scene. We could probably try to ask members of other sections that has 'Ask the experts' (WoW/LoL/CO) if they have such problems as we have (to make the suggestion more general).
