Of course, but you've gotta realize that he aint there anymore. Last time i talked to him (last year?) he was still at ExileBuddy(.com). As far as the convo went, he didnt plan to return to silkroad in near future.

Plus u cant expect a guy who's finally made some money with his knowledge to go n work on open source **** again.

And silkroad servers dont make enough to get him. (thats a lie actually)

i am thinking about giving people with full set some thing to look for
i don't know if that is even possible but what about having a system that's about a daily quest that changes every day and the reward is some thing Let's call it skill opener for now , that by collecting it day per day opens new special skills ( and i have seen new skill in other server so i know this one is possible )
example
Day 1 Kill 400 monster in taklmakan reward 4 skill opener
day 2 collect 20 **** from ***** reward 10 skill opener
day 30 kill uniq **** 1 time reward 40 skill opener
and you need like 500 of skill opener to open a skill
making some of the questes in the middle ( let's say day 15 or day 30 ) give special things like a zerk or some thing will make it more attractive
and of course you can't see quest of day 2 unless you are in the next day of finishing day 1 's
this will make sure ur game last for longer and give player some thing to look forward daily

About the HP/MP bars, well, that's just too bad then. Or just display the nearest 10 members. That'd be useful. Since the other ppls HP/MP bars dont matter thaat much.

The party in the UI should probably only show the top 8 or 10 members in the party, maybe according to level? The rest of the list should come up in the party window and u can just scroll through the whole list.. Question, though, what about share exp? you'd be able to make it so that the exp is shareable among, say, 30 members in a party? just out of curiosity, I don't really think you'll have 30-50 member parties grinding at a specific spot but maybe for dungeons it wouldn't be a bad idea. Because at that point dungeons can be modified so that it can be a challenge according to party size.
