(guide) hybrid spear guide for 100 cap

The new hybrid spear is just like a pure int s/s but with more hp dull stun and knock back but doesn't have a shield on. This build does not rely heavily on criticals as much as the 90 cap 70:70 spear does.

This build is a 1:8 or even 1:7 hybrid. If you are willing to sacrifice damage for more survivability.

Maxing the ice nukes is only recomended if you sp farmed beforehand

Now on to why light and not fire

The problem with fire is that it's exclusively made for pure Strenght characters
It becomes more and more obvious that joymax intended pure int to pick light.
Also the last lighting nuke is very close to the last fire nuke when you have 18% mag increase from buff.

This build wears garment or protector but never armor.
This build is pretty good in pvp. With 60% damage reduction from snow shield and 400+ defense from buff+passive you can tank pure str dmg and you are invincible for 2 minutes.

When snow shield is on you can use a tactic from glaivers.
Fromm a distance start with a nuke or flying dragon flash and spam SSE SSS
WS when dull set them with crane thunderbolt and tap gssc or Deathbringer

When snow shield is down (if your opponent lasted that long) use crystal wall to avoid getting killed and spam nukes. Use fanning spear to reduce damage and try to stun them.

Keep mag balance @ 82~ 86 and 100 Heuk 100 Fire 100 cold is a lot better. Why would u need the light?

Don't say fo rmag, cause fire is higher, don't say for speed, u can buy pots or make'm.

Magical dmg increase,parry ratio,move speed increased,I would rather take light then fire in this case.Strong nukes,and you have the protection from cold.

fire has fire shield, magic defense, fire wall, physical damage buffs. so if you put more str your benefiting your crits more if you get fire.
