Well, technically stuff like this is not impossible, but it's not really worth the trouble for an SRO pserver, if you have the people and skills to do so, you could make your own mmo from scratch

Only SWSRO owner got the source of his serverfiles and client, no other source code appart of that was outside of Joymax HQ as far as I know.

even if it's outside, there is really not much you can do with it, except for learning purposes (and even then there would only be 2 people in the entire sro community who'd even get it to compile)

I don't want to compile it, I'm just interested in how they implemented certain things. Also, it's not very hard to get stuff like this to compile if you know how the VC++ build system works.

According to Ra (ZSZC GM) SWSRO had the real source code of both the client and the server, from the old MHTC files, thats how they fixed so many things and added so many different stuff compared to ECSRO back then.
It was never out for public, nor I know anyone who has it.
