In my eyes SRO is going down. I can only agree to Synx' comment.

For sure there are more and more servers with high end content.
But I don't see that more people starting play SRO. There are just the old players who are addicted to it and don't have anything else to do in their reallife.

In my opinion the only way to bring more players back to SRO would be a complete new gameplay idea. But nobody has such a big imagination, your lights are off.

What about the epvp community is sitting together and try to find a global solution?
I know there are enough good coder out there...

It is thanks to people like Synx, Lasthief, Chernobyl, Drew, Windrius(haven't heard if him in a while) that the SRO scene was the best 3-4 years ago

I really would like that the upcoming SRO-2 to be a real overhaul over SRO
maybe that time of nostalgia may come back, at least for a while

PlaySRO/Seidenkraft is the best at this moment based on playerbase and stability, their servers dont have much improvements, it's just plain and simple and still alot of people play it.

And I think people like overlimits are trying to replicate that what Seidenkraft is doing, a network with multiple servers and simple gameplay, well goodluck with that, this community doesnt give you space to make one mistake and if you do... well then your server will fail.

20 - 30k is a dream that will not come out, once again i'm not flaming and im not trying to hurt you or something but there is no way this community will unite on 1 network simply because kids dont like oldschool play like we do.

They want free silks, full bots and even money (lol).

The only solution to get this community together is to get your hands on the most advanced server files (kSRO or cSRO-R) and NOT release/share them.

And even then people wont appreciate, all the veterans are leaving the SRO scene or are gone already.

What Promise exactly we didn't keep ? i would like you saying them will be great . OL server was perfect and still perfect but we need just to fix that exploit and above all we finished the full arabia update once it came out by 3 ~ 4 days Non but synx done that in short time .

About playsro i will just say one thing , Few people in SRO community who REALLY knows playsro and how it gone there and what methods as well but you as a player or w/e don't need to know such thing just watch its status and be happy .

About 20k~30k player in one network only the old members will remember over 15k players just playing 7 servers ( Elitesro / SW / etc ) It was called the monopoly age when it was run mostly with the worst people . So the point is , it is easy to achieve such thing when you will change the whole community by strong will and experience .

Anyway lets wait and see how things will go .

First to clear something , its not my network , as i said it is a network made by the most skilled persons and high reputation members in SRO to change SRO community to the better because as you see now it is dieing day by day .

As 1_3_3_7 said somewhere here above, you CANNOT Rebirth the silkroad private world, our mentallity has simply changed, we know about bots and even if you would be able to remove them, there will be someone who finds an exploit, something illegal or whatever. We all want to be the best in this game, and once we can't we will stop playing. We know how easy silkroad can be, why change to something harder, when we got other stuff to do? Silkroad is dead, face it.

I'm not a player on playSRO or any server atm and I know what goes on there, no need to tell me the that.

I meant to say that playSRO is stable at this moment and thats what counts at this moment, players want to be sure their stuff isnt gone in 1 week.

We will see about that network... Ludoworks no? But keep in mind that using force to gain players might turn out bad, and most people really want a fun server, i would like to join but ill just wait and see.
